I’m not a big connoisseur on Final Fantasy, but you don’t need to play all of them. They’re all standalone games so you can play 4 and then you could play 10.
But I recommend playing Final Fantasy 7 remake
Or Final Fantasy 10

Never played a Final Fantasy game in my life until my mate said I had to play FF16, One of the greatest games I have ever played, Story is like Game of Thrones and you don't need to know anything about Final Fantasy to play this one. Gameplay was fun as hell, only issue was performance at times on PS5
