Caleb auditioned me to replace him in Bluesology - this was in 1968 and my dad drove me up from Cheltenham and dropped me off at Studio 51 - the old Ken Colyer Jazz Club in Great Newport Street - there were other guitar players at that audition, far better players than me - so I was amazed when I got the call later saying I got the gig. And our friendship has endured - a friendship that is one of the greatest treasures of my heart. Congratulations dear Brother Caleb on this most inspiring documentary through which shines the light of your humanity as a profound expression of faith. Yours sincerely - Sausagefingers 😊

What a wonderful documentary. I saw Caleb and the Faculty at a NAMM Show concert a few years ago - what a fantastic musician. And it was a bit mindbending to realize this superb jazz fusion player was the same guy who played the timeless folky, bluesy, rocky guitar parts on the seminal early Elton John albums and great pop-rock guitar on Rock of the Westies. Amazing.
I have been a great admirer of Caleb Quaye as a guitar player since I was 11 years old when I purchased the Elton John album on Uni Records in 1970. I wondered what happened to him in recent years. Through this incredible documentary, I now know something wonderful happened to Caleb!

Wonderful Doc. Love the personal side, soul transformation and reconciliation with Caleb's Dad - I've known Caleb since the 90s after he gave his life to Christ. He's an amazing musician/guitar player and human being. Hope this doc gets massive distribution and recognition

Wonderful movie about one Rock’s greatest guitarists!! I had the pleasure of meeting Caleb Quayle at an early screening of Louder Than Rock. He was so genuinely kind and warm. The documentary is outstanding, a complete joy!! Kudos to you Caleb!! Your music and this movie are an inspiration.

I read the book, which was with great deal and vivid in my imagination, Yet I never imagined how rich would be the documentary with sights and sounds that indeed add one thousand worlds each of the magnificent ones in the book. You can feel the sould of Caleb and his family, and especially Director Val Tucker, throughout the film. I'm glad i read the book but the film takes you on a journey that is a like a dream, the book comes to life but it's with an appearance and sound that was suddently revealed after months of waiting for the film. A true work of visua beauty to add to the story, Finally, Caleb's voice is so pleasant it provides a wonderful lead vocal to the work. A truly beautiful piece of work, Thank you!!! Bennett Zimmerman
Oh man I eat this stuff up these old stories of how musicians like Caleb got from point a to point b. He helped make some classic music no doubt. Elton’s best stuff.

Brother Caleb! Congrats! Loved the film. I pray that it gets millions of views! ~ I'm a guitar player/songwriter/producer. Here's my Caleb story, a few years ago, as a brand-new Christian, I walk into this church simply because it was right next to where I lived, (this is my very first time there, random church), then the pastor says something I've never heard a pastor say... he says, "Caleb, can you just play your guitar? I feel there's someone here that needs ministering too through your playing." I truly think that it was me the pastor was speaking of! Either way, Caleb did minister to me that day and I've been a member of that church ever since. (I just moved out of state 2 weeks ago) It was an honor getting to know Caleb. Hookfoot's music was and is still a unique groove and sound,. Watching this doc gave me so much insight into Caleb's journey. His early life , musical background and the challenges with his Dad. Loved the memories and the music shared here.

Great story of redemption and forgiveness and how God works through every aspect of our lives to unite us with Him. Thank you for sharing your story, Caleb, I pray it touches many lives. I remember hearing God’s voice before receiving Him into my life. I hope those who watch this that don’t know Him will listen and hear His voice calling them to receive Him into their lives. To those who have ears to hear, let them hear.

This is a brilliant film . Been a fan of Caleb since hall and Oates days. Amazing to hear about his testimony and also amazed that he managed to patch things up with his father . He’s obviously very well respected by his peers and I trust this will be a witness to them too .

Caleb I love you I never met you but you’re amazing human being first of all because you were Christian and you love Jesus and second you played with contemporary genius like Frederick Chopin whose name is Elton John.!!! I grew up listening to Elton Studied classical music and when I heard goodbye yellow brick Road album for the first time I decided to be a singer and songwriter and piano player and cello player of chorus which I graduated from a famous university in Akademia Muzyczna Katowice Poland

I have known Caleb since right after he gave his life over to Jesus. He is the real deal and this well done documentary gives us all a bigger picture but really leaves us wirh the hope we need. I love you Caleb and so proud of you - keep using your God-given gift and being the blessing you are!

Not according to Caleb. There is a CZcams video specifically about why Elton John didn't appear in this documentary. Caleb said that they invited Elton, and Elton declined without saying why. You do what you want, but I will continue to refrain from bearing false witness against my neighbor. Go in peace.

Elton John has a chapel in his UK home so let’s not assume he is anti Christian
@@MJ-qb5ph He testified in front of Congress to Senator Lindsey Graham and he said that "I believe in Christ" years ago. I don't know if he's a practicing Christian.
