  • I keep my promises to my followers!! Here it is, a FULL tutorial, from template design to ironing terror, for how I make my enormous fuse bead artwork - and it's fan favorite, Bead Bakugou!! Now you can make exactly what I made with confidence, and learn all my tricks for how I keep making so many bimg bois for my wall. This is a longer video, but I plan to do shorter, more specific videos in the future that will go into detail about different things I've learned about pixel art and fuse beading, from buying tips to ironing tricks, template designing or whatever else yal have questions about! I hope the info helps and I hope you enjoy the chill vibes supplied by my youngest brother, GioTa.

    I've seen bead art online a lot, and found it very interesting but never thought of trying it. Besides, I don't really have any experience drawing or anything like that. However, I just randomly saw a VERY starter kit in a shop and just bought it, came home and started watching videos about it. I haven't even tried making anything yet and I'm getting more and more excited!

    You can turn on the grid in ms paint by going to view and ticking the box that says gridlines. I personally have an older version of ms paint on my computer so I can count the needed spaces a lot easier because the zoom tool is messed up in newer versions of paint

    could u do a video where u reproduce the reasons why u don't use the Tape method please?, as far as i know from both watching others videos and from experience using it myself the Tape method is by far better than the method u use, then again i haven't tested Wax paper yet as i didn't even know it was possible to use it until just recently when i found your videos looking for the best way to iron the beads.

      @kinitstuff  Před 2 lety +1

      I would too lol I'm still figuring it out since I don't have a store or any seller's shipping deals yet but I can at least say I calculate it as Cost of Materials + Cost of Shipping/fees (selling through PayPal) + Hourly Rate! Cost of shipping is usually an estimate using things like the USPS website to figure out what I should expect for the size of the piece. I bundle all that into the price of the item so I can make it an even $ amount and so that the buyer knows the full amount they'd be expected to pay right away!

    • @kinitstuff
      @kinitstuff  Před 2 lety

      I have no idea; only one way to find out!! I'd say just give it a test run, but be sure to use parchment paper in between your press and the project to protect the press; also be aware that if you iron the beads with them still on the board, the board could end up getting warped and melted (it can with regular irons too of course, I just don't know how powerful the cricut press is in comparison!)

  • @vmundschau4125

    Are you able to reuse the boards after they warp? My boards tend to warp out of shape and become unusable.

    • @kinitstuff
      @kinitstuff  Před 2 lety +2

      YES but the thing is I think it's very hit or miss and depends on the temp you use and the amount of pressure you put on it, I've immediately warped a board before but I've also had boards I've been able to reuse over and over without them actually bending up on me. I think I've been lucky and have started trying the tape method for big stuff since you really need to make sure everything's melting fully on those

That will give you the chance to draw pixel art from scratch OR to use my method (assuming procreate lets you insert images onto your canvas) of recoloring individual pixels czcams.com/video/QoyYE0PS0jY/video.html You can save some energy by using pixel-beads.net to give you a pixelated starter image in the size you want with the bead brand you're using! • @kinitstuff
      @kinitstuff  Před 3 lety +2

      Place the paper wax side down on the beads (the side that feels smooth) and iron with light pressure! It will stick to the beads and can pull them off the pegs if you're not careful but it's much easier to see through so you know if the beads fall over plus it helps hold everything in place much more than parchment paper which doesn't typically stick very firmly! It does leave a slight residue and can sometimes be hard to peel off though!

    • @kinitstuff
      @kinitstuff  Před 2 lety

      Have you tried adjusting the iron to a lower temperature (if it has the option)? I've also noticed it warps if I'm pressing down a lot (usually for the larger projects where some of the center parts aren't melting as fast as the edges); if you want to avoid ironing on the board, I did just try out the tape method for the first time on a large project and it was tedious but went pretty well otherwise!
