Is a fault with the sensor or a error within the system
So I've been avoiding spoiling too much of this ride, so I figured a version with no effects on would be a good preview without fully spoiling "the magic" and it's shocking how good this still looks without the effects... A broken version of this is still better than some other rides.
This was my first time on the ride and I avoided spoilers and because it’s still pretty, I wasn’t sure if something was wrong or not haha!
true, the finale was the part working though, except Pluto's eyes that were glitching

0:38 even the Mickey car didn't show up and goofy didn't appear on the train

It’s interesting to see what the ride considers to be the “default” position for all of the scenes. Almost all of them are in the second phase. The tornado, underwater, the river instead of the factory. By far the funniest part is staring at clams for a minute when its supposed to be the scene of falling down a water fall.
Yes! But don’t you love seeing the hidden Mickey in the clam! Hah!!
@@MagicalHijinx i think this is the only way you’d be able to notice it! The bubble animation is so fast otherwise.

honestly this would probably be terrifying to me and I'm a full grown adult. the backgrounds are fantastic, yes, but it's so unsettling to not see any of the movement, just blank walls and dead eyed animatronics making the black all the more obvious.
I was honestly so creeped out! Especially the dead eye animatronics!
4:20 I love the actors managed to cover up the song as well that's crazy
I think I know what caused this to happen, I believe the ride has sensors that once a car trips it by touching the invisible light the screens and animation and sound plays, but what I'm assuming caused this is that the sensors were probably blocked by something and thought that the cars had already gone through the part when in reality it didn't!

Well that's strange I think the sensors were broken so they did not start the animation, also it was cool seeing a hidden mickey in the Pearl's if a clam and in the coconuts on the palm tree.

Also, there's some glitches in the screen on the "almost finale" scene on the right side. And Mickey and Minnie and Pluto are singing a different song at the end than they do when the ride is normal.
The whole thing was so weird!
It's not a glitch, it's just extended music in case the trains get held up in the final scene
This gives me that monsters inc bonus feature vibes, like where you can look at the locations without any charaters but it still has that ambience sound!
4:22 even the animatronics still work
Yeah but another strange thing is that they were singing a completely different song. Their animation and lip sync had changed as in it was an alternative thing incase a ride glitch but it was weird because why would you need an alternative song for a ride breakdown? I find it creepy

This is really neat, but it would be unfortunate if someone had to wait in line for an hour or even more for this to happen, especially if this is someone's first time and they didn't have the option to go on again.
Hopefully someone gets Rise of the Resistance like this one of these days.

That’s relaxing especially with the forest scene and the music, I guess it was just your vehicles not working since you could hear the ride audio playing properly for the cars in the rooms in-front of you.
This is cause by the train causing a glitch or all the sensors are not working.
Usually they shutdown the ride but this is very rare

Wow, this is cool! I went on Journey into Imagination and there was no audio for the Figment eye-chart scene about two months ago. I was the only one on the whole train of vehicles. It felt weird. My friend working there said one vehicle might have traveled too close to another one and deactivated the scene from playing. All the others were fine though.

that’s so weird, the only glitch I’ve ever had experiencing this ride was at 1:38 when the tornado scene was pitch black as well. this looks peaceful in a way but a bit creepy hah

Hi Tabitha, thank you for reaching out. I did take this video. This was day two of Hollywood Studios re-opening July 16th. I covered each WDW park’s reopening. Video was taken at 4:26pm. The ride went down for cleaning at 4:18pm and I was standing outside pre show room, so I was not the first to ride after cleaning.
