That is genuinely a good fabrication design in my opinion. That took a little bit of creativity to pull off, and most exhaust shops can’t do that lol but of thinking. Good call.

I got an LS1 GTO and my god LS engines are just amazing. Makes me upset Pontiac went out of business, was so excited to see the GTOs they could've made after 2006.

Damm!! That's exactly the sound I want. I have a 2002 Trans Am WS6. Stock Manifols and cats installed. I was debating on different mufflers. Gonna just do straight pipe. Unfortunately, I can't delete the cats where I live. So anything I do will be cat-back, which is fine. It's not a track car.

I do wonder what effect having the exhaust flow backwards does to the sound. Can it technically be considered "straight" when it curves back, lol. Regardless, that sounds fantastic, I do miss Pontiac and Firebirds/Trans Am. My favorite American V8 will always be the Bandit Trans Am.

@@colewalker9286 I know what a straight pipe is, thus I put a "lol" after my comment. If that were the case, no car would have straight pipes.
They did this on a past 3rd or 4th gen... not good. I'd guess that hardly any exhaust actually comes out the other side.
Edit- this one's actually different. The last one I saw had one part of the y actually pointed the other direction. Basically a K. This one is better than that but will still hurt flow. They couldn't find a better way to do this?
