      Дмитрий Сусов I meant based on this year but you're probably right...
      Name, 30 seconds, 10 seconds
      Joe Johnson, 12-for-14, 6-for-6
      Dirk Nowitzki, 5-for-8, 2-for-4
      LeBron James, 8-for-17, 4-for-11
      Damian Lillard, 7-for-17, 6-for-15
      Kobe Bryant, 4-for-11, 3-for-9
      Kevin Durant, 4-for-12, 0-for-6
      Kyrie Irving, 6-for-21, 5-for-16
      Don't see how Kobe or KD could laugh at that. But I should reword this since clearly Kyrie and Damian are not No. 2. Damian is at 4 while Kyrie falls under KD. Joe Johnson is practically unstoppable in late game situations. Numbers never lie.

    • @dunadan1995
      @dunadan1995 Před 10 lety

      Faisal Ahmed I'm kinda surprised that Kobe is there, since he didn't play a lot this year. But Nowitzki! Damn, Dirk is good. And I meant overall, yeah. Joe-Joe is defly in top-5 clutch shooters of 2000s, imo.

    • @MrStrategyGaming

      Maxi J Arana Are you serious? LOL do you not know how dumb you sound. Lowry is averaging more points, rebounds, assists, steals, has a better 3 point % and is on a winning team.. How the fuck does Johnson deserve to be an all star? The past 2 months Lowry is averaging 19ppg, 8apg and 5rpg while shooting better then 42% from 3 & he leads the whole league in charges taken. Johnson on the other hand? What's your case for him? He's on a losing team & putting up worse numbers. Never talk about basketball again, nobody will take you serious.

    • @MrStrategyGaming
      @MrStrategyGaming Před 10 lety +4

      Maxi J Arana I watch every game of the raptors.. DeRozan is putting up 22ppg but Lowry is the leader of the raptors. Secondly, positions do not matter in the all star game (Centers can be put in PG positions). & What argument are you making that he's better? LOL.. Don't you see you have no argument? Just because you say "He's better" without anything backing it up, makes you look like an idiot that you are presenting yourself to be. Like I said, Lowry is averaging more points, assists, rebounds, steals, 3 point %, chargers taken and he is on a winning team. How can you say Johnson is the all-star this year over Lowry? Because you say so? even though all the stats and team success is on Lowrys side. Just a suggestion, don't ever be a lawyer . One more thing, I'm not arguing Lowry should be in for Wall because Wall is putting up big numbers on a WINNING TEAM!... Johnson is putting up BAD numbers on a LOSING team. Now stop embarrassing yourself, thinking you know basketball.. just wow.

    Joe Johnson is a great player. What many people fail to realize is that Johnson plays at his own speed NOT his opposing teams speed. What comes beneficial to playing at his own speed is the points he makes and also takes off the hype the other team haves. When Johnson was being guarded by Paul George he took his time since no other defender was on him and planned his attack and executed. And some people say that he's real lucky with every shot he takes but luck doesn't come around every single day Johnson doesnt just throw it up and it magically goes in, hes actually aiming for buckets.

    Kyle Lowry beats Joe Johnson in every offensive statistical category. He is also easily the best defensive PG in the east, the best rebounding PG in the east, has the best PER rating among East PG's (and only second to gaurds after wade) and LEADS the league in charges.
    He is also on a team with a better record than Joe Johnson. What the fuck were the coaches thinking?

      udbhav agarwal If clutch shots was the basis for making the All-star game, then Joe Johnson should have millions of votes and should have been a starter. The Raptors are better than the Nets, and Lowry beats Joe in pretty much every category.

    • @DaSpaceJammer

      Lowry is only leading in those categories because all of the all star guards in the east are injured, if Rondo and Rose were back to 100% we wouldn't even be talking about him. Lowry missed his only chance to be an all-star this year because he won't even be in the convo next year with Rondo Rose Kyrie and Wall.

  • @MrCrushus
    @MrCrushus Před 10 lety +12

    There is no way Joe Johnson deserved this more than Lance Stephenson.
    His team are 20-24 in the abysmal Eastern Conference (7th seed) and he only averages 15 ppg on around %43 from the field. He only grabs 3 rbs and 3asts per game. He is onyl a sub-par defender with a defensive rating of around 105.
    Compare that with Lance stephenson who is getting 14ppg, 7rpg and 5apg. His team has the best record in the League, he is an absolute defensive stopper with a 98 defensive rating and he leads the league in triple doubles this season. He is also shooting 49% from the field.
    He has a higher PER, offensive win share and defensive win share total than Johnson, and he has a better true shooting %.
    There is no case to make for Johnson to be in the game while Stephenson misses out.

    • @oomayur13
      @oomayur13 Před 10 lety +1

      Ehh... I agree with you, but I definitely understand the coaches logic behind Joe. Joe has historically been good, while Lance is breaking out this season. Since coaches focus all of their energy on their own team, rather than the rest of the NBA, they don't know the most recent news and trends around the league.
      Also, when most think of the pacers, they think of George and Hibbert, not Stephenson. Lance has been the number 3 guy. On the other hand, Joe Johnson has been the number one guy on the Brooklyn offense.

    • @MrCrushus
      @MrCrushus Před 10 lety +1

      oomayur13 The problem is, his numbers have gone down since Brook lopez went down, and he became the number 1 offensive option. If you are the number 1 player on offense, and you get 15ppg, you definitely don't deserve an all star game.

    • @deshunhampton8772
      @deshunhampton8772 Před 10 lety

      MrCrushus Joe numbers went up wen Lopez got hurt and he still wasn't the first option. Even though Derron Williams is a point guard . Derron is still the first option

    • @MrCrushus
      @MrCrushus Před 10 lety

      Deshun Hampton They hadn't when I posted this. As of the All-star break, Joe's numbers had gone down since Lopez's injury. Post all-star break its true his numbers got better when Kidd started playing a lot of small ball, but that is irrelevant to all star selection.
      And no Derron wasn't their main option. He had a terrible season and the coach used him less and less, clearly preferring to use Livingston in longer and longer stretches throughout the year.
      And even if Joe was the second option, Lance was the 3rd option on his Pacers team and still had better stats.

    Seriously you can not look at his numbers and hilights this year and say he hasn't played at an all star level. He is averaging about 16 points a game, he has 2 game winning buzzer beaters and he made 8 3pointers, and scored 29 points in one quarter while also almost breaking the game 3point record all WHILE HE WAS SICK. Defiantly an all star caliber player if you ask me.

    He's one of my favourite players I hate how everyone is hating on him. He's a good 2 guard that can keep up with almost any other player at his position but also has the physical traits of a forward. He can create his own shots and is great under pressure and when he is in isolation. I don't understand why people hate him and if anything he's underrated. People call him inconsistent because they focus only on games where he isn't hitting every shot, but every player is like that. Say what you want, I think Joe Johnson is very deserving of an all star spot

He would put up 20 a night if he had been back on Atlanta. He is one of the best at creating his own shot, he will win you the game at the last second, and he's one of the best Iso players in the league. there's no way you can convince me that joe johnson's impact on the nets (a team with a record below 0.500) is great than lowry's on the raptors or stephenson's on the pacers. Heck I would have even taken al jefferson over him. What are these coaches thinking...

    Lance Stephenson was snubbed, that's obvious. But that doesn't mean some of you guys have to hate on Johnson as if he made himself an all-star, the coaches did. • @maplejordan5258
    @maplejordan5258 Před 10 lety

    Joe Johnson reminds me of those players who have amazing montage mix tapes, but when you see them on the court for a full 48min, not that same player. Kyle Lowry is not exactly the best point guard, but he is the most fearless. When you see your point guar set charges on power forwards on fast breaks or keeping centers out of the paint, they deserve to be an all star. So does lance, and afflalo. I just can't see someone who scores 22 in the first quarter and finish with 26 at the end be a all-star.

    For those who are saying Joe Johnson or Lance Stephenson should be in instead of Kyle Lowry are crazy. JJ should have never even made it there. First and foremost Lowry has better stats amongst the eligible players for this spot and he can put on a damn good show. I'm infuriated that JJ made it over Lowry, it is common sense to put Lowry in there. ILLUMINATI NIGGA
