- China's Internet Bars and Internet Cafes are out of this world! However, I've never actually been to one because I'm not much of a gamer. Foreigners in China can go to these bars but they need to use their passport to register an account. But since posting my vlog about getting a five star card, lots of people left comments saying I should try to use it in an internet cafe, and see if it works in the same way as a Chinese ID card; seeing as they both have 18 digit ID number.
I've already used this card to purchase a boat ticket in Xiamen, and register at a guesthouse, which is not possible with just a passport. Obviously, this five star card is pretty new, so systems are still being updated to accommodate for the new format. You can probably guess where this is going. Nonetheless, let's try use it in an internet bar!

当我第一次用港澳证件尝试在大陆网吧里游玩时情况也跟你一样，但是过了这么多年在广东港澳证件已经差不多和大陆身份证一样通用了，相信五星卡以后也会越来越便利。
並沒有.....十個遊戲九個不支持回鄉証實名,一百個有九十九個不支持.........
可能五星卡還是太新，要通用還是要一些時間，慢慢來，你已經走在很前面😊

记得有一次在外地没有带电脑，所以就去网吧处理两个文件，这些都还是方便的。网吧，其实并不是游戏的专属。
以前在美团外卖上班的时候，我们集体在网吧做PPT，办公室空调不行，就集团跑网吧改商户信息

估计是软件厂商和公安的实名系统还没对这块做对接，打个电话反馈一下应该就会推动了
哈哈哈，这个就是 中国模式 和 西方模式的差别。
至少 中国的还有 官方平台 可以 投诉解决问题，不需要每次都用到 示威来让政府知道。
中国的投诉了还会有行动
西方的 示威了 都被无视，过后自我欺骗 我示威了代表东西解决了😂

十多年没进过网吧了，真不知道现在的网吧长啥样。我还是未成年的时候经常去网吧，那时候没有身份证，都是找个大点的朋友先开好，然后偷偷摸摸进去，有的时候还会被赶出来
那时候我们那个要起床身份证，都是插卡的嘟嘟牛，不知道你用过没有，主机插卡电脑开机就能用，会员卡一样可以充钱，那时候我还是高中11年左右😂
现在网吧 设备更高级，环境非常好，吧台有自己做饮品，价格跟外面一样，味道也不赖。有些有设置无烟区电竞椅很舒服
价格也好贵，我记得以前是1块钱一个小时

That's the old green card. Right now there's only 50 but I'm sure next year people will transfer from the green card to the five star card. I think it takes around 3 months for them to apply.
五星卡只是在必须使用的业务上能认证.资产 交通之类的...
但是非必须的游戏之类的无法认证..毕竟如果要支持的话 游戏要对接对应接口才行...

这很可能因为连公安局都还没完全备案完成 并不是游戏公司的问题 拿卡的时候不是有个人告诉你有任何不通畅或者登记问题时候就找他吗 这时候就是了
问题是哪个拿了中国永居卡的人会因为去网吧玩不了游戏 找出入境管理局的
网吧其实就是个和朋友开黑的地方，要的是那种氛围，一个人去超无聊的，我已经很多年没去了。😑
友情提醒:网吧登录记得尽量用扫码或着复制粘贴账号密码。
我好多年前在我们这边见过一个住附近的外国人上网，当时我还在网吧玩爹4(16年前)，我记得我看他玩的是lol(没玩多久)

这个身份识别系统是按照身份证开发的，全国刚刚发了50张五星卡，肯定不会因为这50张卡重新升级系统，这就是所发生的事情。

游戏公司的身份证验证其实是和公安系统的一个备份库在进行匹配，不是公安系统的主库。估计是号码太新了，还没被同步到那个从库里，跟游戏公司反映一下吧。

The same is true for QQ. In China, we think QQ is a social software, but I think it is unsafe because domestic software permissions are not controlled. If it is too strict, you are afraid of collecting personal information, so it is better to use foreign software. After all, it would be better if the permissions have clear prompts or displays.
应该还是公安部的问题，游戏实名认证的接口应该是公安部提供的吧。可以打公安部门的电话反映一下，或者打腾讯的客服（腾讯客服十分不好找）

五星卡除了图案和有效期,其他全都是奔着居民身份证来的,开头9表示海外,至此身份证开头只有7和0没有用了,可能会留给外星人

It's a totally new card that will replace the old green card. It is closer to the ID card of Chinese nationals in terms of format and usability... Apart from in internet bars ☺

nothing. Internet bar requires registration with ID.
They have specific PCs for playing games.
The vibe and the atmosphere of playing multi-player games along with your friends side by side.
configurations of the computers in Internet bars are more suitable for games
powerful cpu/graphic processor ( worth USD$1000) and likely low latency commercial internet connection ( not available for homes )
