- "Hymn To Poseiden" (original composition for solo lyre in the ancient Greek Hypodorian Mode) - track 6 of my album "The Ancient Modes". This album features 7 original compositions for Kithara-style lyre, in each of the 7 original ancient Greek musical modes - as described in the writings of Plato & Aristotle some 2400 years ago.
The ancient Greek hypodorian mode is the equivalent intervals as A-A on the white notes of the piano. In the Midde Ages, this was misnamed the "Aeolian Mode" - due to a massive Medieval mix up, all the ancient Greek modes were given the wrong Greek names...and we are still using the same confusing terminology today! Poseidon or Posidon (Greek: Ποσειδῶν) is one of the twelve Olympian gods of the pantheon in Greek mythology. His main domain is the ocean - he was the ancient Greek god of the sea. He was also referred to as "Earth-Shaker" due to his role in causing earthquakes & according to ancient Greek mythology, he used his trident ( a 3-pronged spear) to stir up sea storms & tidal waves... - Hudba
O Poseidon, by this melancholic melody, one can know that you, ruler of all, are truly a brother to Hades. The sea is mighty, spectacular, and giving. It is terrible, unforgiving, vast, and deep. Mysterious master, most forbidding and endlessly kind, may we be ever aware of those lives lost, in the midst of terror, at your doorstep. They, whose bodies lie on ocean floor, dear Lord, may their toil and your strength never be forgotten. Look favorably upon us, brother of Zeus, beloved of Amphitrite. We approach you humbly, giver of horses. Bless us all. 🌊
Poseidon has been with me my whole life, sparing me and my family from the ruthless waves. I’ve always been drawn to Him and the ocean and seas and water itself. I then realized when I started my journey, that he was reaching out to me, and had been my whole life.
I love Percy Jackson 😎

Hail to my Patron Poseidon!
Tyler Pape how do I find out who my patron is
Your Poseidon shall perish just another false god created by men
It is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that we worship there is only one God.
Stop trolling
@@formernifb6864 Your god is Zeus, by another name. Your religion teaches of another god named Lucifer. He is Poseidon by another name.
"Hear, Poseidon, ruler of the sea profound,
Whose liquid grasp begirts the solid ground;
Who, at the bottom of the stormy main,
Dark and deep-bosom'd, hold'st thy wat'ry reign;
Thy awful hand the brazen trident bears,
And ocean's utmost bound, thy will reveres:
Thee I invoke, whose steeds the foam divide,
From whose dark locks the briny waters glide;
Whose voice loud founding thro' the roaring deep,
Drives all its billows, in a raging heap;
When fiercely riding thro' the boiling sea,
Thy hoarse command the trembling waves obey.
Earth shaking, dark-hair'd God, the liquid plains
(The third division) Fate to thee ordains,
'Tis thine, cærulian dæmon, to survey
Well pleas'd the monsters of the ocean play,
Confirm earth's basis, and with prosp'rous gales
Waft ships along, and swell the spacious sails;
Add gentle Peace, and fair-hair'd Health beside,
And pour abundance in a blameless tide."

Your "god" could not even preserve his religion he didn't even create heaven and earth therfore he shall perish
There is only one God
@@formernifb6864 I actually agree w u now.
Remember everyone has a journey.
@@lilyjewlhoney807 ah sorry
@Baba Yaga besides the fact he couldn't preserve his own religion or his texts
Great renditions of ancient Greek music. This and his other renditions of ancient music are excellent. I only wish I could experience his music at a live performance here in Cleveland, OH.
HAIL POSEIDEN...I HAVE TESTIMONY...when I was a lot younger about 15 or so years ago, POSEIDEN and the Ocean and its Deities and beings and spirits spared me. They and the universe spared me. I was by myself, and so so much younger, the ocean came very close to washing me away. I give thanks to them all. Hail to them. Thank you POSEIDEN for sparing me. Thank you for not letting the ocean have me. I give you thanks to you Oh POSEIDEN. HAIL POSIDEN! I know to you guys on here it may just be a song, but to me all so much more. Thank you oh strong and mighty posiden. I worshiped these gods when I was younger in my own way, and I think that's why I was spared. thank you Posiden. thanks to you.

Hello, great work, just wondering, would you have a reference book or some sort of treatie for this kind of music that i can read??? THANX.
There are free download links to PDFs a whole range of recently out of print books on the music of the ancient world in the links sections of my website: ancientlyre.com/links/
I have also recently put together a PDF of my own handwritten arrangements for solo 10 string lyre of notated music, featuring 2 examples of the actual surviving music of ancient Greece and 8 of my own compositions in the ancient Greek Modes: ancientlyre.com/blogs/sheet_music_for_10_string_lyre/
I hope this helps?
Thanx for reply, I´ll read and study all the information you so gently provide to the world.
I really meant when I said gret work, thank you so much again.
Would you happen to have the sheet music to this?

am i the only one who believes in the greek gods?
The gods are worshipped all around the world under various different names. Shiva and Lucifer are the same as Neptune and Enki.
