You should use the leave in first and then the dream coat. The dream coat seals your hair and won't let anything else really penetrate.

I have watched a ton of CZcamsrs talk about hair over the last 10 years and spent an insane amount of money buying products with little results. After finding you not too long ago and binging your videos I have had the best hair week ever! I’ve definitely got a few more products I want to purchase. I have 2 daughters and one has hair like mine and the other has completely opposite hair. It’s curly and dry with damage from swimming and it gets frizzy. I can’t wait to test products on her.

I absolutely love her videos too. I have wavy to curly hair and used to do content on instagram before I’ve fallen sick and in a coma this year. My page is still up and has a bunch of tips and curly hair products recommendations for frizz etc. it’s all about wavy and curly hair. It’s “waveegirl” but I am no longer posting new content, I just have it up in case someone like me who was lost needed it. I was like you I hear if so many people about hair none work. Abbey way of hair understanding and all is the right way in my opinion. I only watch abbey. Many CGM communities share wrong information

Yes yes yes! I HAVE to blow dry my roots after wash day. I can go significantly longer between washes when I do because it looks so greasy if I don’t. I’m so glad I finally found someone that has this same issue! Love your videos Abbey! You have helped me transform my hair AND my skin. (Coming from someone who has had TERRIBLE skin for about 15 years now this is huge!) I don’t use anything unless it has your stamp of approval at this point! 💕💕💕

Abbey, your videos and your insights make me so happy. I always look forward to your videos. I’m now going through a devastating break-up and your videos are even more comforting to me. I have naturally curly hair and followed the curly girl method for 3 years with frustratingly inconsistent results. Since discovering your channel this year I started ignoring all the curly girl rules and ingredient prohibitions, and instead experimented with your hair advice and tried a number of products. Now thanks to you, I have a simple, consistent routine and my curls are more beautiful and healthy than ever! Thank you so much Abbey ❤

I've been loving the Color Wow for curly styles which doesn't necessitate you blow dry it. I love having texture in my hair and while a good blow out is really nice, I know it's better for my hair to leave heat styling far away from my hair. You should try that when you're doing your heatless curls - I love using their conditioner, too, after I color my hair. The conditioner included in my box of hair color is really freaking good but the Color Wow conditioner really helps to lock in that color. I know that today's video said it's the water that causes hair color to leach out but this stuff works so well. Another great video!!

  • @ThriftingSquirrelUK
    @ThriftingSquirrelUK Před 2 měsíci

Definitely apply some tension when blow drying! That’ll help remove frizz and make the style last longer - it’s a hairdressing technique not just a Color Wow recommendation.
I’ve found that Dream Coat only really works well when lots of it has been applied, so it’s a waste of money, really, especially if you’re finding you need to apply additional products.

Great video Abbey, came here specifically to see what towels you recommended as I have follow you for last year and have used several things you have recommended. K18, living proof, color wow, pureology, and OGX miracle oil. I really have liked the improvements to my hair. While I don’t bleach my hair I have a condition that affects the hair follicle, which leads to damage to the hair. These treatments help me improve the damaged hair and blend it more into the healthy hair. Great recommendations

Def loving the blush look today! If you haven’t tried it yet, you should def check out the Dior backstage rosy glow blush. I have yet to find a blush that’s a cool pale pink like it. I’m an artist, so I’m really attuned to color in general. You definitely have a more cool complexion. Self tanners usually will skew your complexion warmer, but using makeup that suits your natural undertone despite self tanner is always going to be the most flattering. A cool pink with more blue undertones (like Dior’s) is so hard to find bc almost all blushes have either an orange/coral undertone (like Nars orgasm) or a brown/earthy undertone (like the tarte blush you’ve mentioned as a fave before). I would love to see how you like the Dior color!
FWIW, I have chronic medical problems that make me appear pretty sickly, but every time I wear this specific blush literally everyone I see says I look so good and healthy😂 It really is the most natural looking pretty flush.

For awhile I was pretty confused about if I could use oil on my hair as a prewash before hand etc after doing research I found you shouldn’t be doing any type of anything when planning to use k18 but not sure people really know that. Also if you could include how often someone should be using k18 for maintenance.

My trichologist always says it is better to dry your hair instead of leaving it in the towel because it is actually creating the perfect environment for fungus and bacteria, you shouldn't keep it longer than few minutes

The part about detangling brought back bad memories I hate it when my hair dressers just rip their brush through my hair and break the tangles with pure force. I always cry internally and hair dresser visits just become stressful. Only ever had one hair dresser not do it and that one hair cut cost me like 150€ T_T I don't know who is teaching hair dresser that. They should know and do better! I put in so much effort to keep my very thin and fragile hair as healthy as I can and then the hair cut feels like a giant set back every time :(
    Anyway sorry for the ramble.
    Thanks for the video!
I've been using the Kevin.Murphy Leave-In.Repair leave in conditioner. It's really difficult for me to find a good conditioner that doesn't make my thin hair look greasy but it's also really expensive. I'll definitely try out the one from Redken when my current one is empty.
I'd love to try out octocurl one day but as of now shipping to Europe is just really expensive and it's not available here.

This looks exhausting! I’d LOVE to see WHY you need the steps AFTER detangling & using hair oil. I’m a fan- just a curious one. ❤

You are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing. I do the exact same wash routine as you but with the fable and mane oil as a pre wash oil! I am wondering, is it okay to incorporate the Redken ABC bond repair (before shampoo) every time I wash, including on the days that I apply a hydrating mask? Is that too much? I am wondering if it would even penetrate as well if I have the oil in my hair.

Color wow says you can put products on before you spray the dream coat!

Just one question: if dream coat does coat your hair, wouldn’t it make sense to use leave in conditioner first and the seal with the wonder coat?

Girlll I love the vase decor in background! 😍Where did you get it? Been figuring out the decor on my dresser. I use Manoi Hair mask as hair mask treatment by Carol’s daughter and as leave in after shower. It smells amazing and I’m Caucasian with very long brown hair. It does wonders. Reduced my hair breakage big time but still get a bit here and there.

Do you like the bumble bymble repair cream better than the triple bond complex for air drying?

Do you not recommend the revlon round styling brush blow dryer thing, the one step volumizer one

I don’t understand something, do you blow dry with dyson with cold air or hot air?
