never thought of applying this song to Jack and The Doctor, but it was Brilliant, I love how when your watching Torchwood you think of Jack as this old man, but when you see him next to the Doctor he's still a baby
Oh, this is fantastic. It really shows how Jack has been affected by the Doctor, and how his team at Torchwood has been affected too. Lovely work. And a bit of a tear-jerker too, although that might be just me XD
I think what makes Donna different is that she has this level of maturity that Rose, Jack, and Martha did not have when they were the Doctor's companions. They were considered the younglings when compared to the Doctor while Donna has already experienced many of life's hard lessons and it puts her on an even footing with the Doctor.

Beautiful! And unfortunately explains Jack and the Doctor's relationship a lot. He made Jack into what he was, and even though it's better then a time agent turned con man, it's not a horrible, hard life he inherited. Wonderful job!

Aw, I like Captain Jack! He was the perfect foil for the Doctor. One poser: What happened to Jack's charisma in Torchwood? It WASN'T because Jack was missing the doc, it was because Russell T Davies didn't have enough to do with it! See the DW episodes he wrote with Jack in them & see the difference!

Wonderful. I've been watching a ton of Doctor/Jack vids today and maybe it's just wishful thinking but I really see some real feelings between Jack and the doctor.
Though the footage of 9 makes me really miss Chris Eccleston. I like David too but Chris was my favorite.

I like this video. It's alwasy sad when the TARDIS takes off and Cpt Jack just sees it leave. That's heart breaking. I think the doctor might bump into the Cpt again...but we'll see! I heard TW isn't going to be too raunchy? like last season...hopefully there's still Jack/ianto love though! :O

I think Jack was darker in TW because of everything that had happened with the Doctor and the whole "I can't die" thing.
I think Donna is a great companion in the sense that she is always the one who can challenge the Doctor and question some of the decisions he makes while the others like Martha, Rose, and Jack just follow the Doctor's orders, they don't question his judgement the way Donna does.
And I agree probably now Jack is more grown up, after living for more than a 100 years will do that to ya...LOL

Well, circumstances forced Jack to grow up. He's alot more darker in Torchwood...probably why I like so much to see him around the Doctor, because he's somehow more free and light-hearted in Doctor Who.
But yeah, you're right, they all pretty much wanted his approval, and Donna is just like "Well screw that!" LOL
@Clarrisani Even in new Doctor Who. I think the most selfish moment our latest incarnations of the Doctor has had is when he left Rose and Mickey back on the ship in Girl in the Fireplace. He didn't give a moments thought to the fact that he was abandoning them on a ship out in the middle of nowhere with no way to operate the TARDIS, he was just going to rush on in and "save the girl".
