While some Jordan fanatics like to ignore the GOAT’s two-year stint with the Washington Wizards, there was plenty to remember during that post-Bulls timeline. The early-mid 2000s was a time when Jordan Brand went absolutely ham with Player Exclusives, with few holding mythical status like this Air Jordan 3. Made in 2001 exclusively for Michael Jordan, this Air Jordan 3 captures the OG-style white and cement grey with accents that touch on Washington’s blue and copper color story. From afar, it appears like True Blue 3s, but the shade of blue is indeed lighter, while the hits of copper are seldom as it appears just the Jumpman logo on the tongue, the lace eyelets at the forefoot, and the traction pads on the outsole. The Air Jordan 3 “Wizards” is currently expected to release on April 29th, 2023 in full family sizing, but consider all release dates subject to change.

Great breakdown and comparison video. You definitely put in that work and it showed here. The Wizard 3's are 100% going to be added to my collection. They were done with such care and attention it's a pe to boot, cannot miss them imho.
The satin sole lining sold me on the Wizards 2023. So comfortable similar to the Cardinal Red 3s. I like the copper accent…gives a Defining moment feel. Woke up early, went to the mall and copped. Size 13🔥🔥🔥💪🏼🔥🔥🔥
I'm a big fan of the 3s so these are definitely must cop for especially with a thinner elephant print. Although I wish these came with the Nike Air in the back because you can kinda consider them like an OG like MJ wore them so idk but still a great shoe overall. But if I had to pick between the Wizards and True Blues it's still the TBs for me.

You know I always said Black Cements but my heart would tell me something different. Every time I would go on vacation I would always grab my White Cement 3s. White Cement 3s are my favorite but there is no doubt the Black Cement 3s are the most iconic if that even matters.

I love the 2016 True blue 3's and I actually really like the leather, going up a half size they fit great and after years of wear they still have barley any creases and look much better than pairs with soft leather

I have the 2001’s(I know they’ll fall apart If I put them on) and I still have the 2011’s and they’re still wearable…I have Racer Blue 3’s and I never got the 2016 True Blues, I absolutely love 3’s, even though I have similar Joints….My Cherrywood 16’s mid soles completely Dry Rotted from Age and Time…thank You for the Break Down Bro

The wizards look cleaner than the true blues, just because there’s a certain class to the refined look of the copper juxtaposed to the red on the true blues.

I'm more of a recent sneakerhead. I don't own any of the true blue 3s, but these ain't that bad tbh, the copper really blend in well with the sneaker. Plus MJ worn this on court during his Wizards era and Nike is releasing a PE shoe as GR, kinda hard to pass for me personally. I think its a cop for me DJ.
True Blues are my favorite sneakers ever, couldn't get them last time they came out. I'm going to try to get these instead if i can't get the white cement 3s.

All 3s have been fire since last year . Mainly do to the shape being close to the original
Luv this shoe. But hopefully by the time these come out, I've already been able to cop the UNC 5's, reimagined 3's, and the Jordan 4 SB's. If so I'll be broke. But seeming that I only take L's on drops, I probably will try to cop these 😂
That’s a hard one to pick the best Jordan 3 colorway lol. My first pair of 3s were the unc 3s. From an OG standpoint, I’m going with the black cements which I don’t own…yet! From a GR standpoint, I’m going with my favorite color which is the UNC 3s

Black cement will forever be the best 3. Does anyone remember the jordan af3 fusion black cements? Haha had those back in 2008. Had to have them because they were so similar to the black cements.

True Blue’s are nice but.. those Wizards look more elegant with the bronze hints of color. Plus that new shape & tongue that’s closer to the OG model. Wizards for me until a new True Blue releases.

People don’t understand how big this release is. This is essentially an IPO release of an OG. The blue runs smooth with blue and grey jeans.

I have the 2016 true blues and I also had the 2001 true blues and I wore them until the midsole totally fell apart. I bought these wizard 3’s as well just because I could I guess.

Just managed to cop one at my local store and they are fire. Comparing it with the TB I prefer the Wizards. The reds in the TB just clashes with the blue for me.

Air Jordan 3 White Cement Reimagined is my favorite colorway on the AJ3. These Wizard 3s are pretty dope. I think I prefer the Nike Air logo on the back though. Keep the copper jump man on the tongue and eyelits but add a hint of red in a few places like the 2016 release & these would be 🔥.
Hopefully theses sit like all the other recent retros
