- Follow Craig and Herb on there 2022 Moose Hunt in the Western Arctic. Long flights, big mountains, 1000's of acres of open tundra, Hot Springs and a massive fall storm blowing in from the South.
I spent twelve years guiding hunters in the arctic many years ago. Really enjoyed your video, great adventure.
Thanks

I used to live in Alakanuk in Alaska, loved Moose hunting there.
I probably gave you a ride at one point or another. I used to fly for Grant.

That last moose was huge. The moose is loose. Hood job guys
New sub here, enjoyed the views and scenery. What engine do you have in the plane?
It has a 0320-B2B 160hp.
Great video! Who's your pilot?
You did more flying than hunting what rifles and calibers were you using.
According to Sue Aikens, is it a rule that one cannot fly and hunt on day of arrival? Just wondering why!
So you can’t spot the game from the air, and then shoot them right after. Fair chase issue.
What kind of boat/ raft are you using?
We use a Gray King 14’ Jet Ranger with a 25hp Yamaha jet. Pretty great setup.
Neat looking rig. I’ve been looking for something like that. Thanks for the reply. Enjoyed the video
Did you fly to Kotzebue ?? I thought i saw Jared's turbo Otter parked, he's with Golden Eagle. I didnt go to unit 23 this year, been hunting it since 1983. As you know they shut us out, i called Golden Eagle and Fish and game sept 22 and oct 20,,,where are the Caribou this year since we aint up there screwing up the migration ?? First call they were still up on the slopes,,,a long ways from Noatak or Kotzebue,,,,,Oct call they were getting to Noatak,,,, what a Bunch of BS blaming us,,, how's revenue in Kotz this year ???
Some Caribou are south of Selawik, east of Buckland now, the vast majority stayed north of the Brooks, as they went into rut before it froze up and did the rut where they were. Same thing they did 3 years ago. When it stays warm, they stay in the mountians, its bugs and flys, not planes that make them stay up there untill it freezes.
Very weird that you guys just land on rocks and do things. In South Africa we shall not do that. Donot think we can actually. Use small airfields and on farm air fields.
Spot and stalk....with a plane, it has its purpose in spotting them big moose... I know of an outfitter in the Yukon who uses several planes to fly over different areas and find where the moose are hanging out... they send the GPS coordinates to the ground crew...and Bingo... Mind you people are paying $20-40 k to get that trophy bull moose
If you're going to make a video you need to take enough batteries.
You call this moose hunting. What a croc!
Yeah they did more of nothing
Too bad the moose can’t return fire with an M1 Garand.
Why are you killing animals & uploading those videos here?
Why are you watching it ?🤡🤪
@@politicallyincorrectandpro5856 It popped up on my screen? & I wanted to see what it was about: for nutrition or the joy of hurting living beings in an unnecessarily sadistic manner. Why, clown face?
Because we can. Why you tbag your boyfriend.
