Is the epoxy coat essential? My mk2 van was at the same sort of stage as this mk1 (sitting in red oxid) but I’ve started the first stage of filler/fiberglassing over the repairs…
Should I stop or continue 🙈
Hi the epoxy is very important and should be done before any filler work is done because the metal will not have any rust protection

Hi Andrew ermine white didn’t look great with the blue when we done spray outs for the customer so we went with Ford ivory white I think it works great with the blue

@Berkshire Bodyshop prefer the ratty look these days I'm not as keen with the prep work anymore been through the mill.
Should left it standard arches. And not two colours. Should be like the Murray escort.

@@berkshirebodyshop6031 hi mate. I didn’t know it was a customer car. I had a white twin cam Years ago so I am biased. Great car to drive. Very low geared. 85 mpg top gear. But quick acceleration. No good on motorways But great on n country roads Engine was modified Nice handling But noisy. Probably worth good money now.
