Me parece que en esos momentos se puede notar la influencia de otro tipo de entrenamiento vocal como el de Seth Riggs (Speech Level Singing) ya que sin meterme en temas técnicos, quienes comienzan a entrenar eso suele sonar su voz de esa forma. Aparte el SLS tiene la característica de recuperar la salud de la voz, así que también puede ser por eso que intentó cantarlo de esa forma, una forma de descanso/colocación apropiada.

Steven has the best falsetto of any singer I have ever heard, it's amazing. There's no one that can match Aerosmith, and they are stronger together exponentially than they are apart.
