    @Snowlily01 Před 10 měsíci +12

    Actually there’s a better way to make the most of them. De-seed and soak the nuts overnight. Or boil for 5 mins and they’ll get soft. Blend with 1/2 cup water to get as fine as you can, no need to stress a lot. Then sieve through a nut milk bag into a container (like used for storing stuff) then when you wash your hair, fill the container about half way, squish the milk bag with the nut pulp inside till the water turns brownish (takes 2-3mins) then use that water to wash hair, repeat the step 2/3/4 times depending on hair greasiness, this method makes the most of the nuts and gives you clean lovely hair.

    It has been used in ancient India as shampoo for so long and the word shampoo is even derived from the ancient Indian word "Champu" meaning hair care

    I add castor oil and homemade rosemary oil to mine. It’s very good for thinning hair. It’s very good just in general you can use it for body soap. You can use it for face soap you can use it for shampoo you can use it for anything it’s great. I was using baking soda and vinegar for my laundry but when it started leaving spots on clothes that I buy, then that was a big no-no and then I one of my friends, my holistic nurse, friend and Idaho told me about soap, nuts, and I love them.

    That to much soap nuts, you only need 10 dried soap nuts for 1 lt of water, soak it overnight, Crushed the nute till produced saponin and boiled it to kill excess bacteria add salt to prolonged its life. It can be stored in room temp up to 1-2 week and 1 month in refrigrator.

    Soap nuts should not use separate because it makes too heat for body as well itching to eyes better add green gram powder,Fenugreek powder, hibiscus,amla powder and aloevera . Better for hair fall and hair growth too.

    You can also use it as body wash. Im working on a recipe for liquid soap with soap nuts that you can use for hair, body wash, hand soap, even laundry. Anything that requires soap. You can also just toss a nut in the washin machine 7 times

      I strongly recommend using a preservative as this shampoo has lots of water (in which bacteria thrive). With a preservative you can use it for up to a year. But if your shampoo starts to look different or smell different sooner. Throw it out and make a new batch.

      Boil b4 bath is the best way to do it. And you can't store it as a liquid cause you need atleast 2-3 washes to produce lather. If you want to store it, dry them for 2 days under shade and blend them to a powder. Add hot water 5mins b4 bath.

      For anything that needs cleaning, soapnut can be used. However, I don't know about pets as some pets have certain skin/fur requirements.
