    Certamente no mov. I. Vivaldi utiliza a melodia inicial do mov. II; Largo Cantabile do concerto RV 434. Vivaldi o faz com variação. À época utilizar ideias de uma obra em outra era um auto recurso em termos de repertório. Considero algo bom, como uma memória afetiva. Quando em Montezuma escutei um movimento de As Quatro Estações, cantado, sente algo muito bom. Aqui também, bateu esse sentimento.
    (com tradutor: Certainly Vivaldi uses the initial melody of the mov. II; Largo Cantabile from the concert RV 434. Vivaldi does it with variation. At the time, using ideas from one work in another was a self resource in terms of repertoire. I consider it a good thing, like an affective memory. When in Montezuma I heard a movement from As Quatro Estações, sung, I felt something very good. Here too, that feeling hit.

      @@stellario82 Good! Thank you. It takes a lot of my time. I have ideas for something different; also I have been looking at other baroque composers, but the scarcity of original sources makes you realize just how special Vivaldi's case is.

      As to other composers (though Vivaldi is an excellent choice) have you thought of Monteverdi?

      @@stellario82 Late baroque is my main turf, but aside from that, we have of Monteverdi, as it seems, printed music and manuscript copies (of which very llittle has been digitized). It is all lost through the injuries of time...

      Les coupures de cette nature semblent avoir été monnaie courante, sans compter tous les changements apportés lorsque l'opéra était repris. Ça ne semble pas le cas de celui-ci, mais de toute manière, Vivaldi a rétabli à un moment donné l'intégralité du morceau en ajoutant après coup "Si suona" (on le joue).
