To see half the streamers call him Solid Snake is pretty funny. I really didn't see it coming at all as I thought they'd be remaking MGS before MGS3. The trailer is also so different than what we got used to with MGSV that I really didn't connect the dots until I saw Naked Snake.
As someone who has never played an MGS game this reveal trailer got me hyped

What i love about the reactions is, that it pushes us all back in our teenage years and i see that pure joy in everyone. It's just amazing! Played Metal Gear Solid for ps in 1999 as an 9 year old boy. I love that people start talking about MGS again! Can't wait.

Man, I cried when I saw Big Boss at the end. I played this game while I had a particularly hard period of my life and it became my favorite game ever. Kojima ended up making me fall in love with this saga, ultimately defining my taste in videogames.

I'm 41; and MGS3 still is one my favorite game. What's puzzling me is how the heck these youngsters in this video went nuts about the revealing of the remake? How old were they when the original came out?
I’m 22 and I played the HD rereleases on the ps3 a little after V came out. Most of my friends know about MGS either by playing some of the games or through smash bros.
Same. I'm 26 and never played an MGS in my life. My only exposure to the franchise was Smash for Wii. But that was enough for me to look at cutscene comps on CZcams for a few of the games, so seeing this reveal out of the blue was pretty nice. But what got me was that there was apparently a leak last year that this was in the works, and I'm over here like, "WHERE ARE THESE LEAKS POSTED? HOW DO YOU PEOPLE HEAR OF THESE NEWS BITS?"

The best in the series, hands down. It’s nice to see Konami actually acknowledging their greatest hits and dusting them off and giving them the modern remaster treatment.
You can't freak out for Snake and not recognize the MGS3 theme. That's a huge L. Other than that, everyone else had epic reactions.

I agree with everything you said. I love everything Metal Gear and played them all as well. First game for me was MGS1 & I had many great memories. MGS3 became my favorite game as well in the MGS saga. Solid Snake & Big Boss are legendary!!!

Its fine, not everyone has played every single game and it can get a little convoluted 😂
The trailer was truly amazing to see. The one thing though that I hate about most reactionists anymore though is that you don't get a genuine reaction anymore. They look up spoilers or follow people that reveal it early, then play it off by acting like they have no idea till a few moments before the big reveal. Then they go, oh I bet its snake or im guessing its metal gear but I won't get my hopes up. So the reaction is already gone mostly and takes away from the excitement. Luckily I was still crazy hyped cause I tend to avoid reveals and leaks. Hope everyone else here is looking forward to the return of Snake as I am.
