One of the most beautiful and largest model railways in France - Renaud Yver 's HO scale MRR layout

In this video, we discover the beautiful model railway layout built by Renaud Yver in 1/87 scale. Presumably many French railway modellers are familiar with this superb layout. Therefore, it is time to present this large model train layout to the international viewers of Pilentum Television as well. Especially for Pilentum Television, Renaud Yver shot some cab ride videos, so that we can discover the beauty and the dimensions of his MRR layout.
Renaud Yver describes himself as a precision mechanic in model making, as he has been a visceral surgeon for many years now. Like many model builders, he started as a child with a Christmas Train Set made by JOUEF. He was seven years old at the time. The passion for model trains has never left him and since then he has always had an operating layout at his home. In this video we discover the tenth model railroad layout that Renaud Yver has built in a large attic. The rail model is called “Luzy”.
Luzy is a reproduction of an imaginary railway line in the South East of France in the 1960s. There are many SNCF steam locomotives, old train compositions, a double track main line and a single track branch line to a small terminal station. Luzy is digital operated and trains are controlled by the programme “TrainController”. In model railroading, Renaud Yver is attracted by everything! As a result, he is not a specialist in anything. He likes to define himself as a “general modeller”. He likes to plan, he likes carpentry, he likes wiring, he likes railway track laying and he likes also weathering and landscaping.
Pilentum Television is overwhelmed by beauty and originality of this large HO scale miniature world. It is a jewel in railway modelling. That’s why Pilentum Television wants to visit this magnificent train model in person in autumn or winter. Visiting Renaud Yver in Grenoble will be a good opportunity to produce an exclusive video presentation and to benefit from the insights of a model railway enthusiast, very active on the famous LR PRESS discussion board in France.

I have no words to find and say that I have never seen a model so perfect, in every detail, that I only see the movie to check it out. I am a manufacturer of electronic controls, which run trains in direct current, with pulses. I do the automation projects, which makes it work perfectly like this model. Autant des personnages qui ne bougent pas et qui racontent une histoire me font rêver, autant un mouvement sans histoire crée un manque: la voix et les personnages, l'histoire, c'est ce qui rend ce circuit encore plus beau, plus vivant et quand je regarde la même vidéo quelques mois plus tard , ce n'est plus tout à fait la même histoire, un peu comme quand on demande à un ami comment ça va, les mêmes mots changent de sens, un peu et c'est magique. Continuez à nous faire rêver M Yver et si vous trouvez un acteur allemand ou anglais pour doubler la bande son vous pourrez élargir votre rêve à toute l'Europe, ou le monde.

It is far from the largest but it is the most beautiful. You need to see the films that guy makes ( it is in french) where he plays the different characters in the railroad. He explains how the trains were operated. It is magic. He also shows how he puts hos layout together. The guy is just excellent. I like that he maintains a consistent time period (I would assume 50's-early 60's.) Painstaking is a good description.
