As a UI Designer, I chose Webflow over Wordpress, because the interface of Wordpress makes me depressed. Yes, Webflow is more expensive and you need to get used to it but it's definitely more fun to use. Wordpress should level up their interface game.

Fair analysis. Thanks for the honesty. But, hopefully, Thrive Themes will continue to improve and stay ahead of the curve and market to the Average Joe that is trying to operate in a world of marketing saturation.

Webflow offers a wide range of design customization options that surpass WordPress's. However, the final outcome depends on the designer's creativity, regardless of the technology they choose to use. Also, WordPress has many great feature customization options for Ecommerce, Listings, Booking systems, etc.

I love and use Thrive Themes, BUT you do not deliver innovations for the normal website building stuff for agencies, for designer, for the cool stuff!
Why don't you add more animation features, why no proper background video controls etc ...?

Hi Björn, I appreciate you taking the time to write to us. I think that's a fair comment.
At the end of the day, we need to evaluate where to allocate our resources. Like I said in the video, every time we build something or implement new features into an existing tool, we ask ourselves "what do our customers need to keep on increasing conversions?". And animations and 3D effects on a website don't always fall at the top of the priority list.
But, that's not to say that they're not coming... We obviously want to stay ahead of the curve on all aspects of web design. I hope you tune in for the exciting things that lie ahead! 😊 - Tony

@@Thrivethemes Hi, animations can absolutely increase conversion in some cases. For example a button animation, where barely noticable "flash" or gradient color change loops on button from time to time. It doesnt annoy readers, but it does increase the noticibility of the button.

@@somestari We do offer these sort of animations inside Thrive Architect 😊

@@Thrivethemes No you don't. As I'm not native English speaker, maybe I just explained poorly. You don't have animation feature where button continuously changes color for example - at least I haven't found builtin-in feature like that. You have set of animations which work shown they show up on screen or when hover is activated. Or it is possible that I'm blind of course. I don't always remember to read your changelogs. Anyhow, I'm very happy with Thrive Themes in the end, you guys do great job!
