Turner Network Television (TNT) premiered on October 3, 1988. Greater Rochester Cablevision rearranged the channel lineup on this date as well.
"Gone With the Wind" was the first movie aired as TNT's Big Picture. This video contains all of the TV commercials and promos that aired on that first night of broadcast.
Unfortunately, the actual sign-on of the channel was not recorded on this tape.

You don't have the actual launch footage, do you? (There's been a copy on YT for a while, but the audio's very buzzy.)

I did not realize initially that the launch was at 7:55pm. This tape started recording at 8:00pm, so we missed it by a few minutes.

I'm not sure what else might be on the remaining tapes that have yet to be archived, but I will tell you that I have several hundred more. I'll share what I can if I find anything.
