DJ Jones yes! and even for the ones who wear weave(cause ppl seem to think we’re bald headed chicken heads underneath) this is a great example too cause a lot of us look like this underneath.. Kenya wears extensions sometimes too and this is proof that when you take care of your hair it remains nice, healthy and long!

Every hair grows when properly cared for. The Weave generation is the reason why there's a big misconception that a lot of Black women don't have long hair.
I know it's the in thing & very popular; but when you have people wearing weaves more than their Real Hair and not taking care of their own hair underneath, it can be misleading.

I love her hair care products. My granddaughter and I have been using them about a year now. They have made such a positive difference in both our hair. The texture of my hair feels so much better and my hair have grown inches since I started using it. My granddaughter started using it to help bring back her hair edges because the braids she wore took them out. When she started using the edge cream her edges grew back fast and thicker and that’s when she and I started using the whole line. Kenya really did her research because she’s got a winning hair care line.

I'm black as well and I have bra strap length hair. Yes, I relax my hair (some BP will try to swear up and down if we relax our hair, then it can't be healthy and grow). Your hair length potential is mainly genetics, but how you take care of your hair and whether or not you have health issues (AND whether you are getting proper nutrition) come in as a 3-way tie. I've seen black women who cleaned up their diet suddenly have healthier and longer hair within 12 to 18 months when for YEARS they ate like crap, took care of their hair, yet couldn't retain length.

Sophia- And all the time it is your hair management skills. Cause no one born 47vears ago has hair as long, full and shiny as Kenya's and they are not using hair products to maintain the length. Especially black women cause our hair is prone to breakage. Most people are born with a good set if hair that grows long, black women, INCLUDED. But because of improper hair care practices from the last almost thirty years black women haven't seen long hair as the norm. It is changing now due to the natural hair movement going 12 years strong on youtube. But genetics means nothing if you lack proper hair care habits.

Folks keep saying Kenya had hair since she was a little girl and how they won't be purchasing the product. Most black women had long hair as little girls. Kenya is not special. But what happened? They got perms and relaxers that often damaged the hair and caused breakage, balding, or they improperly cared for their curly hair causing breakage. Kenya having long hair since she was a little girl is irrelevant. Cause one you have to maintain your hair. Secondly, most women tweak their hair growth, Indian women included. Y'all really think those Indian women hair be that long and thick without a hair regimen? Don't be fooled. Having Indian in you or being Indian won't give you long AND good looking hair without a hair regimen. Non black blood in general. Its hair care. Folks need to realize that. Y'all buy all these other products from white owned companies that really don't do anything for our hair. Support a fellow sista.

Agreed!! I have had long hair all my life but I have cut it, relaxed it, colored it, and had heat damage. I decided to go natural in 2011 and yes you have to have a hair regimen or your hair will break off or become damaged. I started using Kenya’s restorative mask in February 2020. My hair has less shedding and breakage and has grown 6 inches. I get my hair trimmed professionally once or twice a year. My stylist was shocked that I had very few split ends after not seeing her for 9 months. Trust me Kenya’s product played a major role. I keep at least 2 jars at all times. And it smells soooooo good!

Great to see her expanding her business. P.s Black women have all lengths and textures of hair and yes many of us wear weave and change up our hairstyles for versatility and have been doing so for centuries. Weave isn’t a new phenomenon for us, we aren’t a monolithic race of women.

I use the serum and yes chile it works. I’m seeing some weak hair growing in places it hasn’t. The back of my hair is pretty weak but I’m seeing some growth. See my hair grows fast but I get breakage. Plus my hair in back is a different curl than the front(damn mixed heritage) I really need to do a video review.
