- We gave interior designers Courtney McLeod, Sasha Bikoff, and Becky Carter a photo of the same galley kitchen-then asked each of them to create a new design for it in their particular style, however they pleased with no restrictions. Three artists, one canvas, each bringing something different to the space. See which designer comes closest to creating your dream kitchen.

What tea set did Becky use at 15:19?
I love that Sasha moved the sink under the window and balanced the off-center window with herbs.
That's actually my favorite design.
I adore this continued series of presenting 3 designers who are given free range to express their creativity. So much fun watching and listening to the process of them developing their own, unique visions.
same here! same space, different thought process. love it.
Amazingly different. And all so unique.
Carter did not respect the asymmetric placement of the window. Not as fun if you don’t accept the challenge as given.
I'd love to see a Becky and Darren collaboration, the outcome would be crazy and ridiculous and stunning and expensive all at once.
this guy again ? oh c'mon
I was thinking that I would love to see the two of them too!!
OMG yeeessss! Both of them are always so creative, elegant and courageous!
omg pls
People on the last video with him were saying to stop putting him on the show 💀 I mean he was becoming repetitive so they just got a whole new set of designers
I'm not usually into pink but that beautiful pink and blue kitchen absolutely has my vote. I love fun color in kitchens!
I'm actually really curious what the designers would do with an outdoor space/pool. Love this series AD!
They're "interior" designers...it's rare that they do outdoor spaces, so maybe Space Designers or Landscape Desingers instead of Interior Designers?
@Alex De la Loire I understand that, but as evidenced by the amount of architectural changes they make in their designs, I’m sure they would have a cool vision for a backyard space.
@googlyotterr Yes of course, they'll have their own vision but I would prefer designers who are specialized in outdoor spaces.
When it comes to the architectural changes, I know in english they're called "interior Designers", but I prefer their name in my language: In French they're called "Interior Architects" which is more accurate to their profession/job imo
They listened to your suggestion lol
They do have a backyard one of the exact 3 ladies
Really amazed at how the curved cabinets in Becky’s design made that space look soooo much bigger!! Super creative 🤩
I love seeing how different brains interpret the same assignment - and I am consistently impressed with the digital artist bringing their visions to life.
Courtney's design is absolutely gorgeous, creative, and somehow still functional. I'd actually be able to live with a kitchen like that.
Tbh i find her design gross, definitely the worst there, it might be unique due to it's colors, but nothing more than that. I wouldn't enjoy time spending in this kitchen and it's just a big no for me.
I love it, too! Would be a joy to cook in that space.
It looks soooo tacky
@M Mądro me when im allergic to fun
@M Mądro Gross is a bit of an exaggeration, are you mentally okay? You could've just said it's not your preference....
I love Courtney’s design, it’s so mesmerizing & beautiful 🩵✨
Sasha totally understands the assignments ❤ She can read a room and nail the design elements ❤
Courtney’s one felt like a kitchen where you could cook in, the other two were a hard pass.
That doesn't warrant for you to be rude!
definitely
@Megha Singhania If you think I was rude, you might want to brace yourself for the real world. I just made a subjective observation.
I thought Sasha nailed it too!
@Chelsea Eloved Sasha’s too the only thing about hers and Becky’s design is that stainless steel. It doesn’t feel homey imo and looks weird just because I’ve never seen it before used in a kitchen
I loved Becky's design, IMO she's the one who better answered the prompt of no budget, no client just go crazy and have fun. Yes, realistically this wouldn't be the most practical and budget-friendly kitchen but it's a great way to exercise one's creativity :)
Totally agree!! Her kitchen is by far the most unique
Really love Sasha's design. Was worried that it might be too cold at first, but the warm lighting and the plants really brought it to life. It's clean, not jarring or distracting in any way, it just complements the space perfectly.
Sasha’s design appeals to me. Love the modern industrial look
Every single one of these AD 3 designers episodes just reinforces for me how much I value the perfect execution of form and function. Seeing designers throw function and sustainability out the window increases my respect for industrial designers.
I LOVE Sasha's design it's so simple and minimal yet so funky and retro it's just my vibe!!
I think my favorite was Sasha… but I was surprised how much I like Becky’s vision too…
I loved the sink being under the window and I loved the window frame being minimized…
Courtney's outfit is literally the color pallette of her kitchen design😂
Fun switch up of designers. It keeps these style of videos alive with energy.
I adore what Courtney has designed. I love colours and her design resonates with my personality. I wish I can have this interesting kitchen! I would cook often!
Waited more than a month for this video!! :)
AD, can you please make these kinds of videos more often ?
Agreed!
Please!!
becky’s kitchen is more my style, but it’s undeniable how beautifully the coral reflects off of courtney’s blue tile wall 😍
I absolutely love all of these, even the ones that aren't to my personal taste, and I really love this grouping! It usually has felt like there is one that stands above or below the others in most of the other videos, but all three of these designs felt inspired and unique. More with this set of ladies!
Agreed, in the other pairings I was always felt embarrassed on behalf of one of the designers. This triad was much more balanced.
Becky all the way!!!
And for those wishing Darren was there: If you like Darren’s style, you ought to like Becky’s design here as well
I beg to differ.
I thought Becky's was semi-OK up until the curved uppers - ruined it for me, felt too kitcsh. I also was VERY distracted by the fact her face didn't move, but that has nothing to do w/ the design. 🤷♀
@valarya LOL.
Becky's kitchen would be ideal for one person who eats out all the time, because she decided to basically use a mini fridge.
@Carolyn Wilson yet none of these kitchens are made for a person. There is no client or budget just blank space to let your imagination run wild. She delivered a visually and conceptually remarkable kitchen as opposed to a relatively ordinary kitchen painted pink and blue
This needs to be a weekly updated series. Can’t have me waiting a month!!!
These were all really great. I liked almost everything. Except, those slanted cabinets. That would personally give me anxiety, even if it was largely subconscious. Though, I'm getting late-80's / early-90's Miami aesthetic, which I love. Very Birdcage (1996). If I had to choose one, I'd have to go with Courtney's. It's fun and brings a lot of joy into a space that's often cold, minimalist & utilitarian.
I agree - claustrophobic feeling for alot of people whereas Courtney's was uplifting, flattering for most skin tones and functional - the only thing I would change is putting lower cabinets across the back wall below the sink....storage, storage, storage - even if it's only pullouts for the trashcan/recycling.
Loving each one for completely different reasons. But for my personal style and taste, my favorite is the blue and pink kitchen! If I could ever hire an interior designer, I feel like Courtney would just get me.
I'm glad Courtney, who I share a name with🥰, had the kitchen I loved most. I've been daydreaming about a kitchen that incorporated pink and her design really spoken to me 😍
Fantastic as always! I loved the retro nods throughout all the designs, can't wait for the next!
Agreed! So fun to see all the design we’re learning in school in the field!
I love this series to see the creativity, but I’d also love to see a version where designers have certain parameters or restrictions they need to keep in mind. That way, it can provide more realistic ideas for folks with similar spaces and limited budgets.
Agreed! Perhaps parameters on how much they can change the architecture so we can compare apples to apples also.
Thank you, designers. Of the three designs, I love Sasha's design.
These designs are all unique and I like a couple of ideas but I could not see myself have any of these kitchens, it's a combination of too loud and not my style and that might make me boring but I like a calm kitchen
Same! After seeing all three of the designs, I'd choose the original kitchen and just add some plants and fun accents😅
I wouldn’t want to live in any of these places, but I appreciate that they were creative.
I’m gonna say it. I need the window to be aligned with the center of the wall. The fact that it’s not is driving me nuts.😂😤
But like.... as an architect.... that one modification probably costs as much as the entire renovation... and recladding the exterior? getting the building owner to be okay with that... the liability for any waterproofing failures.... just... thats a lot to take in for such a tiny tenant improvement lmao
Edit: lol okay now that I watched the whole thing.... sure... move the window, whatever XD we're building a spaceship anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Wow, so unique, all of them! I think Courtney's is probably my favorite. It's functional and I love that window! I would personally change the floor and the ceiling to non-pattern, perhaps some neutral travertine or tile. What she chose is just a tad too busy. I would make that fantastic stained glass window the focal point and change the color of the cabinets to maybe a very light taupe or gray color.
Love the travertine and steel combo… and that light! Sasha’s kitchen is proof that neutrals can be fun.
This video is my favorite of this series so far. Normally I like only one of the designs, but all of the ladies knocked it out of the park!
my fave series back with new designers and they're all so different, love it!!!
I love Becky's the most because it is so creative and actually works very well together. Also, I like the fact she has put so much research into it and really utilised that to make the design.
Always gutted when I finish one of these and have to wait until there’s a new one. Great series. Small courtyard/city garden would be incredible 🙏
I liked Sasha’s style - the pictures they showed in the introduction- but then the kitchen she made didn’t look anything like her other designs!!
I actually like all 3 designs. Great job designers!
❤❤❤❤ Love the imagination and artistry of each of these designers. Their unique perspectives are fascinating and beautiful. I could watch them all day!
Wow!! The first one in the series that I’ve absolutely loved all the final designs! 😆 But I must say, Becky… how did you reach into my brain and pull outta dream kitchen that I never knew I wanted?! 🤩
I LOVE All three of these renditions. Amazing. Thank you, ladies ❤❤❤
My favourite is by far Sasha's! Minimal but interesting, and the most realistic out of all the whimsical ideas. Really matches the city vibe as well. The lay out is so much better in her design!
thanks AD for these series . I really need to see more of these.
Still my favourite Web series, these are all brilliant and interesting with such bold choices.
I love the coral cabinets! I also like the layout of the travertine kitchen. I would skip the sitting area and table though.
I would love if they did the same concept of this video but designing a bathroom!!
I love this video! We have a galley kitchen and it seems like every design or decorating show has the same open concept, massive kitchen. Nice to see such style and creativity in this smaller space!
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unquestionably, I choose Sasha's design, which has a timeless elegance and sophistication. With that said, Sasha's vision wouldn't scare away future clients in the future, when one desires to leave the apartment for whatever reason.
I love watching these, they're always so different but we get to see how you got there on the way.
I love these three, all different but all interesting! Would love to see a design for a converted loft space, or for a repurposed basement space.
wow this is the first episode in the series in which I love all the three designs!!
Agreed!
I loooved the pink kitchen. As someone who cooks every day, it seems like the most practical and stylish one.
Each one is absolutely stunning and unique. Gorgeous! I love the coral kitchen beyond beyond . . . yet, the true galley kitchen is a wonder . . . and the eat-in kitchen beautiful as well. Those herbs will not do well there, though!
This is my fave AD series and this episode did not disappoint!
They did amazing! I would also love to see some more minimal designs in this series. I'm specifically thinking that Japanese or Korean interior designers would have great ideas for working with small spaces while maintaining a sense of peacefulness.
Courtney's was fun, interesting, innovative, and most importantly functional. I could visit the other two, but Courtney's is the only kitchen i would want to cook in
When I saw the video frame, I was like: "What fuckery is this? How could they take Darren out?!" But while watching it, I changed my mind. I loved the cast of three wonderful women with so grand solutions and ideas. By the way, I loved Courtney's creation and vibe.
As usual I liked parts of each design but I would probably lean toward Sasha’s design although I would have liked a bit more color like in Courtney ‘s design. Courtney also chose a beautiful chandelier. The spaceship vibe was not appealing to me but the floor was nice and I liked the parkway wall design.
Okay absolutely love Sasha's kitchen! I wasn't sure I would vibe with her style when first seeing her style photos but would really love to see what else she could create in these fun prompts 😊
I love this series! Loved all of them 😍 also missed Darren Jett Noz Nozowa and Joy Moyler😭
First one i’ve seen where i’ve been in LOVE with all three designs. So fascinating
Sasha's is definately my fave! ❤
I'm obsessed with this series❤️
The only one who thought of moving the window into the middle was Becky. I also like her space-ship inspired design, however, overall I'd rather go with Sasha, who thought of seating when the others didn't. Her kitchen gives me a calm feeling.
i thought i was going to hate the blue and pink design but the designer really told me "trust the process" and i actually really liked it at the end. However i think i'd prefer that grey more industrial/modern kitchen it seemed highly functional and suited my taste more. That boat look was outrageous i loved it but it didn't seemed really realistic taking into account how expensive all those changes would be
All these designers knocked it out of the park with practical spaces that are full of personality!
All three designs are fabulous ❤
I feel if Becky and Darren were to combine forces, their genius would create a split in the spacetime continuum.
I prefer Sasha’s design, aesthetically. However, I love the finishes in Cortney’s design and Becky’s use of color was brilliant.
I loved all three kitchens for different reasons. The first is sophisticated and relaxed. I loved that she changed the window and put the sink under it. However, I am not a fan of open shelving. Dishes pick up dust. While I like the look of stainless steel cabinets, I know they are impossible to keep clean.
I loved the color in the 2nd kitchen. My favorite was the blue tiles. I love the cabinet colors, but they kind of downplay those wonderful blue tiles. I would use a color that emphasizes them. This was my favorite design though, beautiful but practical and full of life.
The last one gave the kitchen a very spacious feel, not my favorite colors though, and I think making those cabinets would be a carpenter's nightmare.
Even in the city, people use their kitchens. They do use appliances and countertops and are often pressed for time, so while maybe less beautiful these items do need to be visible and readily at hand.
Love that you can take the same kitchen and turn it into something so different. Thank you.
I love the boat inspired kitchen, so cool!
Becky going crazy going fun!! It's so creative I love it
I fear that all of these interesting kitchens will feel dated very quickly. Nonetheless this is a useful video for all of us with tiny city apartments. Thank you AD!
I kinda agree except for Becky's, hers was totally timeless.
I liked Sasha’s design the most.
_Pluses:_ the clean window treatment with the sink directly beneath; the stainless steel and travertine flooring; the movement of the fridge to the near side of the kitchen (which moves it out of the focal point).
_Not so great:_ the open shelving (it looks great but there isn’t much in a kitchen I want to display); the wavy Clarence House fabric (too opt-arty) and the Bianca Jagger/white horse photo (too self-conscious a “New York” statement). (Bianca Jagger, incidentally, has made it clear that she did _not_ “come to” Studio 54 _on_ the horse. The horse was _at_ Studio 54-Studio 54 owner Steve Rubell had arranged for it to be there-and she just got on it.)
_Honorable mention:_ The stained-glass window in Courtney’s design. I’m not wild about that light blue and rose color scheme, generally, but that stained-glass window with its hexagonal panes evokes the iridescence of soap bubbles and so has a light, magical feel to it.
I know it's not the point, but I gotta say I love all their outfits, they look really chic and cool!
It does add to the design ambience of the video though 🤗👍🏽 . I also enjoyed the outfits, and the kitchens! Such a great series!
I liked Courtney's better, but the sink under the window and the herbs garden on the wall, that sasha did, is greta too!
Can I just say that 'Blank Space' would be a much cool name for this sketch, rather than 'Space Savers'!? Please do tell me what you guys think!
Love love love this series! ❤
I can't say I love any of them but they are creative.
Pink is my least favorite color, yet I’m sold on Courtney‘s kitchen. I’m amazed at spacious her design made that tiny kitchen look.
i love love every elements which sasha used. i personally like more of melting point where style meets the practical aspects of the kitchen....it is so gender neutral and classy....thank you Sasha for job well done.
They should mix in people with no design experience every once in a while. I think it would be so fun to be on the show 😊
They all turned out interesting and grew on me. I like bright colors so my fave is the blue tiled wall.
I love Courtney style very feminine chic and adorable💖
I love Sasha's clean and modern design and esthetics.
All three kitchens look great this time, but Becky’s is definitely my favorite!
love courtney's kitchen
Courtneys design wins for me in fun and practicality. Beckys design is super creative and a great idea for what she's designed it for: A kitchen on perhaps a boat.
Sasha... I don't know. That kitchen looks kinda boring.
Love it Courtney. Becky I really like the seating in your space.
Super awesome series I love these videos.
These ladies went off!! Love interior designers have free reign. The peach/blue/hex design is fav.
It looks beautiful the decor is very unique
I mean I love courtneys design but I mean I will change the colours a bit to match my personality you know that design is just breathtaking 😅❤
O Darren ficou TÃO famoso que ele já não tem agenda pro AD. Amei que chamaram outros designers.
