Your video serves as motivation and inspiration to my 11 year old daughter who's also an African-American pitcher. Unfortunately, there aren't many of us pitching in softball and we consistently have to work 8 times as hard and endure so many challenges as pitchers (daddy ball, prejudice, and biases) just to compete in a sport we love and get the recognition we EARNED. Keep working hard and may God continue to bless you. Much love!😍
Wow, I don’t know where to start, so I am going to speak from the heart. Booker T. Washington stated, “Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed.” I am still on my journey facing obstacles and pitching through doors. I am now a Freshman in college (Howard University) still pitching and planning to be a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. I believe, “I can do all thing through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13. If I have been a motivation to your daughter, your words have been a motivation to me.
Absolute Flith comming outta the circle!!!! You can see a composed dominant presence upon delivery... Your looking at a Pure GAMER!!! Good luck along the way, your gonna do BIG things my dear!!!!#NorCalSoftball
Thank you so much! I have worked hard and will continue to work even harder to improve. I am now leaving my high school and travel ball career behind to start at the next level. My parents, coaches, family and friends has helped me along the way. But its great comments like yours that keeps me focused on working even harder. Thanks again for noticing the hard work.....
Very impressive, Love the Video, could you go into more detail about how to throw those pitches. and same with the batting. Describe what your thoughts are for say Power versus hitting the ball in play on a hit and run
You're probably done your college career by now, but that was a decent riser and a REALLY nice changeup. I didn't see much movement on the curveballs though, and your hook release was a bit of a tell.
Big thank you..I'm going to send her a note this weekend, I'm looking for a Pitcher to pitch for the American Team at the Cup in the Netherlands in January...
Thank you so much. I enjoy your tag of Keep Calm and Pitch Hard. As pitchers, which I believe you are, there are so many things going on around us. In my early days of pitching my instructor would mention, "Show no emotions". Thanks again and much success to you. I hope to see your video soon.
Your going to be great! 3 things I would work on, Make sure your drop and your drop curve actually drop more than they do, Make sure both of your feet start on the pitching rubber and I'd just add in more video of you throwing from the back so that the coaches can see more of your great movement!
Hi Mandy, some people have noticed that there is no plate. The field that they allowed me to pitch on is geared for men slow pitch, which is 50' (feet). When the video rotates you will notice that I am close to the rubber. I standardly practice at 46' not 43', I do this to protect my dad who catches most of the time (lol).

When hitting, stepping into the pitch will get more of your body into it and increase your power.
You're only about 6 years too late... she's probably finished college by the time you wrote that lol
@@chad1755 Soo, I guess that she's the ONLY young hitter out there who couldn't use the tip, eh, "Einstein"?
Your pitching is really good! One thing though..you didn’t take a stride when hitting, but it’s not that big of a deal
Nice pitching
Thank you for watching. I hope to see all of you being great at your on creative desires. Hopefully its pitching (smiles).

Yes, I agree with show no emotions. Thank you so much and good luck in the future.
maybe you should step a little when you bat? your feet aren't moving at all and a lot of your power when you bat comes from your legs and hips

She’s not even on the mound😶🤨
