One of Joe Pesci's lines in The Irishman, "A fairy named Ferrie"
Really?
Was it a nod to this film?
@@scottspencer6899 100%. He played Russ Buffalino in that film who was one of Ferrie’s best clients in real life.
@@portugal5698 how do you mean, client?
Had a total geek out during that scene lol
The wig and eyebrows deserve best supporting actor
Pesci is a severely underrated actor. The guy can play any role.
lol who has ever underrated joe pesci
Absolutely….yet he and Oliver stone didn’t get along.
Still great movie after 31 years later
Incredible Film
chilling film
watching this in the cinema was so funny the audience was in stitches laughing ,and when he phones Garrison when his name and pictured in the media , It was just so funny the way Joe Pesci played David Ferris . That line by Garrison ,"Dave I find your story not believable " And Ferris " Really, what part" And when he answers about his goose hunting. "We got out where the Goose were and only then we realised we forgot our shotguns"
Apparently Costner and Pesci also were laughing a lot while filming this
@@TrequartistaFM it wouldn't surprise me that scene was hilarious 😂
This is one of the best ensemble casts ever & candy ( esp ) bacon & pesci steal the movie. I know stone was labelled a conspirator director but I think he did a great job showing the possible motive.
Stone made what he called his own alternative myth of the crime. It was amazing. Bacon and Pesci did steal the show but John Candy's fingerprints were recovered as well; a role that was small but not incidental, eh? Gosh it really was great!
It's a lot closer to what probably happened than the Warren Report.
I thought Sutherland's monologue owned the movie
Joe Pesci sounds Southern! Wow! He is very underrated as an actor.
I own John F Kennedy A Personal Story on DVD when you slow motion the black and white footage the camera angle of the motorcade facing the overpass, there is 3 consecutive flashes from the overpass surprisingly
Camera flash?
We could put something in his food, make his beard fall off
The wig may have been terrible but Pesci delivered a dynamic performance that may have been more Oscar worthy than Goodfellas
It was supposed to be, the real ferrie looked like that
You removed the best part when Garrison asked Ferrie what was so appealing about Houston. The way he says it kills me everytime 🤣🤣
*Wonderful movie*
The guy left behind typed suicide letters super sus
Both unsigned !
He was also a notorious ped0phile
This movie is not that off. However, 3 shooters...
Knoll - Roscoe White code name Mandarin
Book Depository code name Lebanon (Don't know who he is)
Records Building code name Saul (Could have been the Mexico guy Oswald stand in)
I'm about 70% sure on this...
50 year anniversary of what?
The assassination. Now 60 years, 61 in November
Ferrywasahomosexual
In this clip, Either Garrison was lying about Ferrie knowing Oswald well, or he got bad information, and Ferrie was lying that he didn't know Oswald, but did not know him well. What did they expect Ferrie to say? Ferrie lied about himself his entire life, being in the closet. Vanilla screenplays don't sell movie tickets.
I always felt it odd that Ferrie denied knowing Oswald...but after the assassination, Ferrie heard that when Oswald was taken into custody that Oswald had Ferrie's library card on him.
When Ferrie learned this...he went the boarding house where Oswald stayed and asked the lady if she seen his library card or knew where it was.
That tells you right there he knew Oswald and where Oswald lived.
He knew Oswald!!
