- Finally, I tell an entire story and under 60 seconds. I found these super cool Lucite, sealed dummy money bricks at my friends booth at the flea market. Let’s see if I made a good buy or he made a good sale.

I remember buying a 1912 penny glued to a post card claiming it was a penny recovered from the Titanic while in an Antique store while on vacation, I was a young teen in the late 90s so I didn't really know any better. The store owner walked outside and told me to come back in and told me he couldn't sell me that fake prop for $12, he refunded me the money and let me keep the trinket. Something I'll never forget.

Probably a net gain of 70$ and he probably sells a 100 every year if not more. A nice little scam he is running, only needs to find 1 or 2 sucker's a weekend and sell them 2 or 3 bricks at a time cause if your going to buy 1, chances are you are willing to buy more than 1

My grandfather had one of these when I was little. They were basically just novelties, often found in businesses as a desk piece (think how $500 in 1970's worth would be fun conversation starter).
that was fun! getting played is always cool and that pedestal that you ruined was probably worth another 75$ so that means that was twice the fun!

This is how you end civil asset forfeiture. When they take your money they have to give you a receipt. Take them to court and sue for the full amount plus lawyer fees.
