      We are not required to put license numbers as long as our name is properly displayed.

    Those respirator cartridges probably aren’t any good anymore. I’d recommend having them in a large plastic bag, take all the air out of it and then seal it. That’ll keep those cartridges in good shape longer!

      Filters are cheap enough, test the carbon filter effectiveness by putting on the mask spray on some deodorant and if you can smell anything swap the filter out

      Sam Mundi Gorilla Desk it was the best for us because North Carolina has a specific form that must be used for WDI reports and they had it so we could fill it out in the field and send it in the spot. If you live somewhere that allows the NPMA form I think a lot of programs have it.

      David Howard I have no experience with them so I can’t say much. I don’t think they can find old evidence and they seem kinda gimmicky to me honestly

    Just took over a long running company a couple years ago. We also use gorilla desk, but I would love to know how you integrate the photos into your inspections on that program.

    • @Nik.Coffman
      @Nik.Coffman Před 2 lety

      We also use Gorilla Desk. You can upload your pics into the note section. Then as the administrator you can add those pics to the Top Note section. From there you can easily send the information to the client or property manager via email.

      @@Nik.Coffman There is a 4 photo and 6 photo document you can upload in the document section. Then add it to each job, like you would a service agreement and etc.

    Hey bro may be moving to Texas soon. I do pest control in California, and I was wondering if Texas requires any license to simply work for a company? Thanks

      yes

      @radaraacf Před rokem

      You don’t need a licence and cert in California? I’m in Western Australia our cert is country wide but we need to be licences by the specific states health dept.

    • @AAAExterminatingCo
      @AAAExterminatingCo  Před 4 lety +1

      Yea every now and then we treat vacant houses with no power. Or big commercial properties with power off. We also have battery powered drills

      @@AAAExterminatingCothat’s a good idea I will have to look into that myself now! When this happens to us I call the boss who calls the agent who has to organise someone to get us power which sucks because we might have to wait an extra 2-3 hours but not have any jobs removed to keep the day a fair length

  • @thekentuckyhillbillyengine8434

    I want to start in pest control what's company do you think be best as a starting point.

    • @AAAExterminatingCo
      @AAAExterminatingCo  Před 4 lety +1

      Depends on what you want to do. Most companies specialize in certain things. If you wanna do termite start with a company that does liquid treatments that is the way to learn the most. If you wanna do pest maybe join a mosquito company

      Orkin bought AllPest in Perth west Oz several years back after I had left, they told the staff they were being paid too much even though they were being paid less than common labourers at the time! Not a good way to introduce yourself to the staff, I heard a good portion left very quickly and found much better paid positions elsewhere! They seem to have changed their tune since then and are paying competitive wages albeit slightly on the lower end still, but their equipment is top not from what I saw

    A fire extinguisher in the box doesn't satisfy OSHA requirements. Don't be lazy, mount it properly and accessible. Needs to be readily available not only for the obvious emergency use, but also so it can be inspected. Checking it should be part of your daily inspection.
