I couldn't agree more, 18 speed manual, don't give me less than that, I drove one of our Peterbilt 567s with automatic while my 389 was being worked on, I'll never have desire to have an automatic in my assigned truck
I’m old school but I do like this one Starting from the chrome bumper back but I’d want both stacks to be hooked up or if that isn’t possible just have the right hand stack or put the duals behind the sleeper. I mean if you’re going to pay for a second stack it should work. And yes a couple nice long old school horns on the roof. And just enough chicken lights to enhance it’s good looks and signal lights on the bottom of the mirrors
The dual smoke stacks looks pretty cool but it does Create more wind drag, And then on this model with the side skirt gone there goes the Aerodynamics for the rest of the truck. I'm Really big on mpg I guess, Since it is the largest cost for an own operator.

I think square nose trucks are the best, this is aa aerodynamic truck I'd be proud to drive. I hope business keeps booming for you.

Old school folks do not appreciate this model, however in the proper color scheme, plenty of chrome, w/ appropriate equipment & accessories, it will grow on the viewer. The aerodynamics do not yet out weight the classic appointments/traditions but 🤑💰5 a gallon fuel will force some reevaluation. It is coming, the US is leading the charge, foolish politicians
Why can't PACCAR build aerodynamic packaged big horse 18-speed trucks? None of the manufacturers are building what I want in a truck and the glass dash nonsense is unwanted junk. The big fleets are having garbage speced out for themselves and that is pretty much all that is available in the used truck market.
We do built that way. Most customers that want big horsepower and manual order a W9 or T800. Aerodynamic trucks are all about fuel economy and light weight. The Paccar engine offers light weight and fuel efficient configurations for 80k loads etc.
Pull that red boat anchor out replace it with a c-15 6nz or a C15 n or mxs then maybe you could sell it to real drivers. At least the curb snuffer aint powered by paccar.
Manual is where it's at!!! I tried and autoshift and I went back to manual after 1 trip!
Same here. Now I did drive a new volvo with autosthift an it was aok. Even backing up was not to bad but I don't see me buying one anytime soon.

I think it’s not a great setup. Without the full skirts your mileage will suck. What the deal with the nonfunctional stack. Stupid

All we need now is a built in massage chair in the seats with heated and cool seats. We definitely need the feature.
checked out a lot of different cabs and the KW has the best cabin in the industry with swivel chair and a solid table.
Freightliner cascsdia with driver lounge is better option

Andy, the reason you buy a mid roof is to fit under more low overpasses. Why the tall exhaust stacks on a mid roof?
The stacks might be 12’6”. Which should fit under most low over passes, but true, it would fit under more without them..

Def tank cover would have been the final touch. Heard that it's expensive to add it after it's built by the factory.
