    Hi Josh, thanks for taking the time to make this, it really helps clear up the confusion I had with this device. I’m new to spraying and some of the equipment is intimidating. Could you share your wisdom and tips do a vid on priming and cleaning your airless? You have everything so clean!

      Awesome glad you found this useful Garcia. I will do a video in the next few weeks on priming and cleaning out the machine🙏🤙 cheers

  • @lazugravitcuzugravurban8928

    I don't have a cleanshot yet but it's on the list. now when I use the extension I am forced to finish the jet in the air. thanks for the explanation!

    Hi Josh, great videos! At 2:24 you talk about the throat liquid that you pour into your machine. I am a diy guy and have a graco project sprayer. Do I need this stuff? Any tips would be appreciated.

      @paintingbyjosh  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi mate thank you for the positive vibes. Depending on you graco machine but a lot of the project and diy machines do not require throat seal liquid I'm sure this would be the same for your machine👍 hope this helps mate

    Thank you. I bought an X7 and the clean shot based on people saying extensions cause spatter. I'm doing the trim in my house and all 30 doors right now. I had no idea how to use the sureshot. One question. How do you determine your pump pressure before you dial in the sureshot. I don't know if I'm setting it at 800 or 3200 psi. My pump does not have a gauge. Thank you.

  • @paulmorgan1636
    @paulmorgan1636 Před 3 lety +1

    Hi josh are you saying you gradually turn the valve to get it to work and stop when it stops spitting or turn it fully to close it
    Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge 👍

    • @paintingbyjosh
      @paintingbyjosh  Před 3 lety +1

      Yeah brother exactly right just until it stops spitting in a lot of cases its fully turned 🙏🤙 respect

  • @ragandoil
    @ragandoil Před 4 lety +1

    we use this in the UK a lot , down at 800psi with tri teck and graco lpff tips , its the dog bollox , as well as inside cabinets and trim , its a grate angle finder , just need to get the pressure balanced out

  • @mikethomas9544

    Every time you finish using the Clean shot, strip it. Even after flushing it will still have paint in it. Dont over tighten the 2 x 5/8 nuts. Just nipped is enough. I put a tiny smear of Vaseline on the O/ring before assembling

  • @deaton123able
    @deaton123able Před 4 lety +1

    So If You Have The Clean shot valve dialed into the "Flush" position. Can it be used strictly as a directional for spraying ceilings where one may not need necessarily the spit free. Thus saving wear and tear on the clean shot valve??

    • @paintingbyjosh
      @paintingbyjosh  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi John. No if the Cleanshot is left in flush position while you spray it will not come out a fan pattern with alot of splatter from my experience 👍🙏

  • @jbpaintingplasteringltd1542

    Hi Josh great video. What pressure do you run on with fflp tips? Cheers JB

    • @paintingbyjosh
      @paintingbyjosh  Před 3 lety +2

      Depends on what product, what machine, the temperature. Rule of thumb is when it stops lining i start painting 🙏

    • @chris560
      @chris560 Před 2 lety

      any extension will leave paint in it without pressure. So when you start spraying again it will splatter with the paint left in the extension.
