I was thinking the same thing. So many little things get taken away from parents when they have children (that’s not a bad thing always) but Aaron deserves to name his puppy with no influence or pressure from anyone

Those puppies were so adorable, I almost cried. The pure joy on Aaron's face was priceless. When he said there was a hole in his heart and now it's filled, I got a little emotional. It's been a tough year for Aaron and this just made his day. I'm so happy for him.

A raised bed in your backyard would be sooo great for you to grow some of your own food and teach the kids about it 😊 ps: I know this comment is random but it would be so fun and you wouldn't even need to dig up the ground because you literally put it on top (I would recommend herbs, spices, strawberries because they come back every year, blueberries and raspberries) btw, the puppies are soooooooo cute 🥰

@@lizregan1949 They could grow bell peppers, tomatoes, beans, okra, and some herbs. Their side yard would be the perfect place to put an elevated garden. They could even build a screened canopy over the top to help the soil.
This is something I wish my parents had done when I was a kid.
i think it’s a great idea! you can even just get a vertical garden so you don’t have to dig everything up & it would be easier for the kids to care for. It could be added to the chore list too!
Aaron should name her Joy..because you could see the Joy that puppy brought him! This made me tear up seeing how happy Aaron was! Great job Crystal on filling that hole in Aaron's heart.

And Aaron is absolutely right that he should name it meaningfully and according to her personality. A name from an animal book or movie character maybe?

I can totally relate to losing a dog and just feeling broken. My god of 17 year passed away last week. My dog Penny has been with me through a break up, the death of my dad and my sister. She was my everything. So glad Aaron has a puppy.

Well a lot of people think puppies are cute but it doesn’t mean they’re responsible enough to have one. Jamie would definitely need help taking care of one, and Ariana had one but gave it away.
Ariana only gave her dog to Aunt Bonnie because she was going away to college and couldn't have a dog in the Dorm.

Oh my they are so cute. Crystal your surprise puppy for Aaron was awesome, even more so because he felt a connection to this particular one when you went to pick a surprise one for your mom Joanne. Aaron's reaction was pure joy full of love, has he said when he lost Phoebe it left a hole in his heart, so was so touching when he said he felt his heart was whole again. The story about Aaron and the dog is exactly my husbands story. We surprised him with his new puppy a yr. ago. I never thought it was possible but, he is even more bonded with this one. Excited for Aaron!

Would like to mention to be cautious around raised dog bowls as they can cause bloat in dogs that can be lethal, also wanted to let y’all know that if both puppies from the same litter are adopted together and grow up in the same house, littermate syndrome can occur.
