Gonna get uncharacteristically serious for a moment, so bare with me. From the events that we all know both Cloud and Tifa have had to endure in VII, I honestly wouldn't put it past either of them to entertain the idea of self harm. In saying that, I am so very glad that Squaresoft wasn't that dark minded back in 1997, but they still decided to put them both through the ringer and back. The only reason why I started thinking about this is because of the song itself is about the very subject. It's sad, depressing, and an extremely personal song to me because someone who is close to me tried taking her life to get the attention of her abusive partner. I guess every single time I hear it, I thank some higher power that she didn't succeed that day, and is now away from that guy and is now healing and happy with the right person and 3 children of her own. Anyways. I just can't with this song, lol. I love it! Don't get me wrong, I do but at the same time it reminds me of a time that I thought I had lost someone special.

I’m not sure if you’ve listened to Beth Crowley, she has a lot of songs that would fit these two and Zack / Aerith big time.
