I quit watching the monkey videos for a while because you quit filming Popeye and Sweetpea. The very best entertainers of all the monkeys. I see you are filming SP again. Thank you for that. He’s still the adorable, lovable and entertaining monkey he always was. He really seems to have mellowed a little. Could you get a video of Popeye and Sweetpea together or just Popeye alone. They are still my favorites. I don’t know anything about the humans in this film, but they seem to be treating the monkeys well. I hope this is the case. Thanks again for film of SP.

SP is so adorable as all the monkeys I love monkeys I think you all are doing great, as long as they aren't being abused or killed by humans feeding them and taking care of them is all good. Keep up the good work I would love to come there and see them all. All these people that talk about his weight well he could also have a medical issue of why he is gaining weight, but he also still nurses and eats food, I dont see anything wrong plz keep up the great work also is there anyway or address to donate for food to help with them

This monkey eats way to much it's not good for him she's not helping him she's hurting him the people who runs the park need to stop people from feeding the monkeys and get people who job is to feed them
Poor Sweetpea still has that limp from that beating he took over a year ago. I don't know if it was indeed a beating from a human, but he and the troupe were all mixed in with families having meals and playing with their children in the park. Sweetpea is a nuisance and not every visitor knows he is special. We don't want anything to happen to Sweetpea but he's definitely a huge nuisance and is way too humanized for his own good.

HE MUST HAVE GAINED A LOT OF WEIGHT IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS. SHE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM HOLDING HIM BEFORE. HE SEEMS REALLY HEAVY TO HER NOW.
He has put on a LOT of weight with the tourist season. He has even gone to eating grass now which some animals will do to bring their weight down. For an animal to get to the point that it realizes its weight is holding it back. Things have to be completely out of control. Shot Pig might just be the first case study of a macaque heart attack

He is definitely humanized and close to a pet and he definitely was like that before this lady came along to I'm pretty sure that he's only two years old if I remember correctly... from what I read in the wild they still nurse sometimes until they're 2 years old on and off

Money is nice when you have it but not at any price.
Monkeys can have medical issues too such as diabetes or thyroid problems. Without a simple blood test and left untreated he could continue to gain wait and become very ill. I have always believed and still do that he is suffering from some type of medical problem and if it isn't physical then it must be mental. There was always something wrong with SP. He cried too much to often and could never settle even when nursing!
