    The fur-eel version 1 is the one that dosent last, maybe like 6-10 cars but the fureel pro 2 is improved and lasts way more, bought one last year and still running strong.

    Btw one of my favorite tools is the tornador with the water misting option. The water really helps clean between the crevices like a steamer but without the risk of damaging the interior with the heat. Its by far the best tool for those super dusty dirty interiors.

    • @DetailWithJess
      @DetailWithJess  Před 9 měsíci

      I have heard great things about it! I was torn between which Tornador to get first - the wet or the dry, and of course I got the dry after watching a few videos.

    The Fur Eel pro 2 lasts way longer than the version 1. Also misting the carpet with a rinseless wash, or diluted fabric softner (I've also heard of P&S Paint Gloss) helps loosen the hair from the carpet and lubricates the removal tool to reduce wear and effort.

    • @DetailWithJess
      @DetailWithJess  Před 9 měsíci +2

      So good to hear that! I’d definitely give the Fur eel a go knowing that it lasts longer! The only down side of lubrication is that the Lilly brush loses all it’s gripping abilities once it gets wet, but I should definitely try some dryer sheets or something. Everyone says it makes such a big difference, I Just haven’t tried it yet!

    Personally, I use a Dyson V12 and the include pet hair removal corkscrew-tool. its sole design is that job and it works better then a lilly brush, shop vac, drill brush, or tornador.

    I have found the best device for cleaning the hair out of my wife’s car to be the Uproot mini cleaner. That thing grabs so much hair and doesn’t damage the fabric of carpets at all. It has taken the chore out of removing dog hair and made it a joy to do!

    Hello,
    Great job.
    Dog hair removal can be a pain at times.
    As a fairly new detailer myself I’ve encountered some to be more challenging then others. I’ve tried to use different tools and methods that other detailers have recommended.
    I would say the Fur-reel pro 2 is great, efficient & last longer.
    Also some have recommended to use Paint gloss by P&S as it has anti static properties.
    I can also recommend start by using just the glove 🧤 in your hand,
    That has help me remove a good 50% of per hair in some vehicles.
    Anyway, awesome content.
    Great job once again.

    • @DetailWithJess
      @DetailWithJess  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Thank you so much! Agree, a ton of people recommend dryer sheets for the static as well. This was a weird one, typically the hair comes right out with some effort but this interior material was not letting it go. I had tried my glove but it wasn’t doing anything! It’s crazy how every detail is so different! Thanks for coming by :)

    The tornador needs at least 5 scfm, thats why the RIGID 5.1 scfm 4.5 gallon dual tank air compressor is the most popular with detailing. There are easier ways to get rid of animal fur and hair: sticky roll for flat surfaces and (cheapest) office adhesive tape for tricky spots. Just stick and peel!

    • @DetailWithJess
      @DetailWithJess  Před 9 měsíci

      I wish it were that easy and if the hair was just sitting on the surface, that’d for sure work great, but most dog hair gets deeply embedded into the fibers of the upholstery and it will not come out with a perpendicular motion, you have to slide it out in the direction that it went in…much like a splinter in your hand. It has to come out in the direction it went in.

      haaaa - definitely not offended. I’m not sure if you watched the entire video?…the client did not want to pay for more than an hour and a half of dog hair removal and extraction was not part of their package.

      @@DetailWithJess Watched the entire video: that text message is you wrote the customer is telling, its just another way of saying I CANT DO IT BETTER! Are you a Detailer? If the next person does a better job, you lose a customer, you lose referals, you lose business, i the long run you lose your business...Sorry!
      Now something helpful:
      1. Ditch your compressor if you wanna work sufficiently with air (Tornadors) tools. The magic numbers for a compressor are 78psi @ 6.2cfm -vs- your compressor 78psi @ 2.5cfm, only has 40% of the necessary power!
      2. Ditch your vacuum, suction power is critical for detailing! The magic number for a vacuum is 150cfm -vs- your vacuum 110cfm, only has 73% of the necessary power!
      3. If 40% of people in the comment section say buy the Fureel, then thats when you should listen. You are not only removing pethair in the process, you are vacuuming, time savings on that tool alone 70%! Paired with the right Vaccume🤯. The trick is to buy the rubber head attachments in a pack of 6, price goes down to 6,50$ per head.
      With the right tools you are able to remove 100% of the pet hair in about 30-45min!
      Alot of vital information above, use it wisely............................Your welcome.
