Hey everyone, it seems I've made an error with my calculations because I was assuming 1 of each medicine, but at a dose of 15ml for injectection she will need to buy 4.5 vials a month. This means the costs would total as:
Zocor 20mg x28 : 7.620 KD
Forxiga 10mg x 28: 14.580 KD
Janumet 1000mg x 56: 13.940 KD
Lantus 100ml for injection: 20.180 (x4.5 = 90.81, some months 4 vials, some months 5)
Total KD = 126.95 + costs for any additionals like wipes etc.
Conversion: 320 GBP/415 USD/565 CAD/613 AUD/381 EUR
Thanks everyone for letting me know.
@@MilkTeaReacts Injection medicine is not counted by milligram per milliliter. So even if Chantal has an increased dose. It's not increased by milliliter. But grams. It's not possible to inject 15 milliliters under the skin without a great deal of pain. And with only one injection syringe that holds 1 ml. I have an injection I take at home. It is 15 mg/ml so I take 1 ml per day now. And I had my dose increased recently. by 10 mg. But I got a prescription with a higher milligram per milliliter so I still take 1 ml per day. It's not possible to inject yourself with so much liquid subcutaneously/under the skin and down into the first layer of fat. It will hurt. And it takes strength and insulin doesn't work well doing this. Like very many different medications. And you have to go through training as a patient for many weeks to get to do this at home. But I really appreciate you looking up all the medicine and every cost of them. That is so much work. 💜🌻💐
@@MilkTeaReacts If I counted it right she would have paid 4377,62 in Swedish kronor?? No way it was this cheap. No way. I have been taking my dogs and cats to the veterinary hospital many times. And a few of them had to stay. Two in the ICU And with good insurance. I still had to pay more than that. For the part you have to pay besides the insurance. I mean nothing bad against Chantal. But we have "free"health care in Sweden. So that's the only thing with the same costs I think I have. I really don't mean anything bad against Chantal or anybody else. But it's a small sum for being at a clinic. And then to an A&E and being admitted for a number of days. Being admitted is crazy expensive. She showed her hands with an IV I couldn't find a mark on either of them. And have the health problems she has they must have trying to get IV into a blood vessel. There is not a mark on her. That bruise you get is visible for at least 14 days. Am I going crazy for not believing her and her hospital stay story?
Your math is way off for the Lantus.
One vial is 5 or 10ml (hers looks like the 10ml)
There are 100 units per ml.
She has to inject 15 UNITS, not 15 ml.
So one vial would give her 66 doses of 15 units , or over 2 month’s worth.
As one 10ml vial = 1000 units.
IS it possible that the meds she received from the Internist are samples ( i see no name label on it )and she has no idea what it will cost her when she needs more?
@@Puglover130you’re right! I misread the Lantus label, I thought it said the whole vial contained 100 units. So the total is much closer to what Milk Tea found originally.
Her missing all her appointments in Canada is exactly why she was dismissed from ALL her doctors for noncompliance. That’s exactly why she didn’t have a family doctor for years before leaving for Kuwait and why she was only ever going to clinics
💯💯💯
@@effy_kujo maybe her health is why she went to Kuwait. A chance to start all over again with different health care providers? None of the doctors in Canada would ever take her seriously again because no matter where she goes, her noncompliance records would follow her. I wonder how long it’ll take before the same pattern happens in Kuwait?!?
Sorry but Dr. In 🇨🇦 do not “ dismiss” patients that are non compliant. They continue to be seen when they present. She likely did not have acGP because we have a huge shortage.
@@R12390 Chantal admitted to having doctors dismiss her for noncompliance for not following even the most basic of instructions, like taking her blood thinners and following up with the thrombosis clinic. I understand it may not be “normal” for them to dismiss a patient but you have to go back to the start and see how many times Chantal has said she was released from doctors offices for not doing what was asked of her
@Allie_phelps her health has only gotten worse since "moving" to Kuwait. She tried to make both Salah & her audience believe that he was going to help & support her into eating healthier & getting in better shape. Well, she did what she always does: manipulate. Her "journey" didn't last 2 weeks & she had Salah buying her burger king. Every time they were live & he would comment that maybe she had enough or she should slow down, you'd see her laugh if off & continue on while saying, "I know, I know". Well, eventually, she had him bringing her fast food or out to eat every day. He went from nudging her to mind her language, to eventually using the very same language & insults to her audience members. It's one of the biggest reasons why her true supporters weren't happy with her or him. Over time, it seems like she wore Salah down so much that he would just give her anything she wanted to shut her up & she stopped going out & vlogging with him. You can watch how it all happened from the time she met Salah online to traveling 3 weeks later for the first time up until where we are today. She never had any intention to become a submissive housewife who did all of the cooking & cleaning while working on her health & ED.
"... and uh, I'm really gonna try to..."
So, she's not doing anything. Point, blank, PERIOD.
Yes, try to. The most trusted word in dealing with your health.. After my second pancreatitis I went "I can't eat that". Can't. No more anything high in fat, period. No more snacks, even went off chocolate, which is my bane. Didn't want to go through that again so I put a stop to it. Even now, after gallbladder removal, I'm not back to my old ways. A bit here and there but my habits had changed by the time of surgery.
So has her fave word of Karma finally hitting her in the butt!!!
She remains ever-convinced that she’s one doctor visit away from being cured of everything. Good news is just permission for a spare sandwich. Circling the drain….
Well, the Forensic Pathologist/Medical Examiner is a doctor too…..
She is done for. She's inching into Life By Jen territory. She has too much wrong with her to walk it back at this point. She's desperately trying to medicate her way into continuing to stuff her face the same way. It's too late.
Anyone who still wants to see the creepy intro Zachary Michael reviewed it
I keep thinking what will salad do with her if she passes while in Kuwait. I would suppose her family would ship her back home, that'd be expensive.
Sorry, just where my mind goes...
@@LisaLou4sho Salad will be useless in an emergency. Also, do you think he could arrange and pay for her body to be repatriated to Canada ? Nope.
What she really needs is a psych evaluation. None of the stuff she is getting will work if she doesn't get a handle on that drive to eat.
nailed it!!!!!!!!!!! i was thinking this years ago...........after Nader is when i thought wow...........she is so reckless, unhinged, dangerous. i have never been a regular viewer but would pop in and out.............she was practically normal with BB..........even their break up went smoothly............so why couldnt she handle the break up with Nader who she really wasnt even with. bizzare
I don’t think all mental illness is ‘fixable’ but psyche meds might level her out in terms of reducing her raging and self destructive cycles. But she has to WANT this. And she doesn’t.
@PorkyLikesDonuts Not fixable but treatable with meds and therapy. However she won't put in any effort to deal with it since that would remove her biggest excuse for eating - 'my BED/food addiction made me do it, it's not my fault 😫'!
Exactly. As the saying goes: "It's not what you're eating, it's what's eating you."
100%.
Foodie isn’t going to therapy or diabetic education because she doesn’t want to be told what to do
She might attend a session or two so she can claim to be even more of an “expert”. No, none of the information would actually sink in.
A lot of the meds for diabetes have bad and dangerous side effects !
She knows exactly what she must do. She won't, she's a diabetic Diva!!!🎉
She always says she’s going to try to do whatever, which means she won’t. Do or do not, there is no try.
You can tell there's no conviction in her voice
I've heard that voice on media like My 600lb Life. It's a detached monotone drone of all the things they are going to do and achieve. The expositioners NEVER achieve anything. All their effort goes into dreaming and envisioning, whereas the successful ones know the results will speak for themselves and don't need to explain anything to anyone
She won’t be so excited about the diabetes education clinic (if she actually goes… huge if) when they tell her that ALL carbohydrates affect blood sugar levels, not just sweets.
Totally agree. What a shock it'll be when she finds out she will STILL have to practice self-discipline when eating. She doesn't know yet.
I just hope she is able to see a dietician that will look over all of her labs and let her know what she can eat with all of her health issues. My guess is just low-carb veggies at this point.
what about low glycemic index carbs?
She wont go, i am so sure I would almost bet the farm on it 😂
@@VibinJivina balanced diet will have some carbs but very low, like broccoli and spinach.
15:55 Glad you mentioned the grapefruit thing. The real mechanism of that is that a lot of medications are processed and rendered inert by a class of enzymes in your intestine called CYP450. Grapefruit compounds (unsure which ones) inhibit those enzymes and slow down their function, so more of the medication builds up in your system and what's there stays there longer.
Source: I am a medical student
Edit: corrected location of enzymes
ahhh, I have HBP and not allowed to eat grapefruit..
@@janetpirate2110Same. And I love grapefruit...I used to squeeze fresh pink grapefruit juice, and I crave it so much in the summer. ☹️
Same is true of tonic water. It messes with the metabolism of medications (I have worked in medical research for 30+ years)
@@anseladams23tonic water, with quinine, yes? Just curious this is all fascinating
Chantal was diagnosed with high cholesterol before she even met Nader. Her GP put her in a medication for high cholesterol and in true Chantal fashion, she never took it
She probably has significant cardiovascular disease.
Those are a lot of meds she's responsible for taking correctly!
You've been spoiling us lately and we Teacups are thoroughly grateful! Wishing you some good sleep
I am telling you that She got absolute dire news at the hospital..She is in Really really bad shape. Her kidneys are failing and by all the edema and water retention her heart is too.
These are all great steps the doctor is putting her through the problem is, Chantal herself. She will never follow through with any of what they want her to do because food is the only thing that makes her happy
My son is type 1 diabetic and he finds it astounding that she can function in the 20's mmol blood glucose level .
Based on her size and various ailments, I’d be willing to bet Foodie has no idea what it’s like to actually feel well
It's a matter of being used to it. If it rises very slowly, you tend not to notice it
I'm surprised she's conscious at that high of a reading
Agree - so many of her complaints could be attributed to that BG.
She doesn’t function, she exists
I also don’t believe the doctor told her everything can be fixed if she loses weight. She will definitely stop further damage to her organs but, the damage she has already done, it’s done and there’s no going back from it. Vital organs can’t handle 40 years of abuse without permanent damage. Chantal was damn close to having organs shut down and nothing she does at this point will reverse the damage
Agree.
Man she is really in for an awful end of life. Im watching someone who has given themselves severe dementia from drinking and ED (opposite end to Foodie.)
Their brain is too gone to accept the help to save them so in the next few hrs it will be decided if they are going into a home or palliative care for end stage ED. They are 62. Its no joke. Ignoring and not seeking help for food and addiction issues leads to a really horrific end.
I think the conversation was likely more along the lines of "you CANNOT continue on at this weight and survive, even with all medications. You have to change NOW if you want to live" - and the unspoken part of that is "live longer than your current prognosis, no matter how many meds we throw at you". She absolutely is well past the point of curing anything, but to even have a hope of being able to not pass away from organ failure very soon, all the meds won't do a thing if she continues as she has been.
But that's far too scary and real a conversation for her, so she hears what she wants to hear, tells herself it's still all totally reversable, and the doctor totally agrees she'll be at Everest base camp in six months if she just knuckles down *this time*.
Best hope is to not get any worse not reversal
💯
Her problem is that she absolutely refuses to be even the tiniest bit uncomfortable which is not conducive to weight loss. Exercise is WAY too uncomfortable. Also, she is so spoiled and pampered that she can't even stand the "discomfort" that a food craving causes. She has told us herself that once she experiences a craving she absolutely cannot tell herself "no", she obsesses until she has whatever it is.
This is the best comment I've heard, 🎯🎯💯💯💯👍👋🇨🇦✨
Exactly. She gets excited by a new plan, but cannot stand being the least bit uncomfortable. And this is going to be HARD.
Lol, she and exercise. Problem is, even if she exercised, she'd just take it as the ideal excuse to eat extra cheese blocks.
She doesn’t listen and doesn’t want to be told what to do. That’s it whether it’s parents, boyfriends, girlfriends, friends(?) and even DOCTORS. The woman decided being a rebel was worth more than her life a long LONG time ago.
Absolutely true about being uncomfortable, yet she'll happily accept the uncomfortableness of a long haul flights.
Like her "changing her mind" - she's never "changed her mind" about Salah or Kuwait. I think she nearly did around the Kaibella time, but didn't allow herself too because even she realised it would be major egg on the face
She’s on Day one of her journey. All excited! She’ll be done tomorrow, eating what she wants, no more health reports, and big mad.
Brooooo this is going to spiral even faster than before. All these meds that she won't take correctly... and insulin? skipping and/or taking extra? this is gonna be a wild ride.
Does she not realize having on day of low blood sugar means nothing?? She needs to consider her A1C which is the average over 3 months
She did. It went down(according to her), so she's good. 😂😂😂
In Canada she deemed herself cured after a good reading and now here we are
She has said that being on a diet or watching what she eats feels like a punishment. She'll be back to fast food mukbangs soon.
Her going to the obesity clinic is pointless, she'll just ignore what they say and go straight back to mukbanging, how many times have we been through this song and dance.
Pretty sure her grandmother, mother and aunt are all diabetics. Smee was on ozempic at the same time Chantal was years ago & she mentioned her being a diabetic then. That's what makes her ignorance & defiance even more outrageous to me
She uses the grandmothers diabetes as fuel for her actions honestly. “My grandmother lived a long life with diabetes” “my grandmother had fruit with diabetes “ things like that. I think she likes to forget she has so many more issues than diabetes. Fatty liver, no gallbladder, high blood pressure, kidney failure, and that’s just naming what I can recall.
starting the countdown to when she says "insulin just doesn't WORK for me" like she did with the antidepressants and the doctors advice and the lifestyle changes and and and
Well, insulin wont work for her if she keeps this up. There's only so much medicine can do in the face of lifestyle. But no doubt, it'll be another way for Chantal to be quirky and completely different from her haydurs 🤭
I love how her TED talks are her briefly realizing what everyone has been telling her.
last month my son went into DKA..diabetic keto acidosis…. His sugar was over 1000, his core temp was 93, he coded in the ER…. I hate it when she tries to give all her knowledge to her beezers. My son did not take his diabetes seriously. He was 40 when he was diagnosed in 2020with type 1,,…
That has to be so hard. I’m sorry your family has to experience that.
I hope anyone diagnosed with any type of diabetes takes it very seriously. I too hate when you tries to flex her knowledge like we're all stupid. I don't know everything but I'll go head to head with her any day with info and numbers. I continue to hope no one takes any advice or suggestions from her.
I hope things are going well.
Thank you for making nursing our newborn (who is cluster feeding now) more manageable .
My pleasure!
Good luck! Those early days are hard. It doesn’t help much but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Both mine cluster nursed and it’s intimate and exhausting.
Cluster feeding is so hard…good luck and get plenty of rest for yourself ❤
Oh my all the best. I feel ya gorl. I still have the scars to show 😂
@@hannahj489I wish i had known this because you see these nursing videos and how the baby feeds sufficiently and sleeps, boy was I in for a reality check 😂
I wonder if it ever crosses her mind that if she had followed doctors instructions years ago in Canada she wouldn't be in this dire situation.
That would make me lose my mind
I would say Nope! She's an arrogant know-it-all who is somehow always the victim of something. No clue about personal responsibility.
Someone said 5 units for every 150 lbs..so 15 units means she weighs 450!...I think evy one pretty much thinks this is correct
I only have google to go by, but apparently they will give lower doses of insulin in conjunction with the oral medicines.
Isn't that interesting! Then again, we all knew she was full of crap when she said she weighed 330lbs.
It's a process. When dealing with diabetes they need to consider what meds the person is currently on. Their diet, their current numbers, and then start with low doses to see how the body reacts. Now she surely lied about how and what she eats and her activity level.
Long-acting insulin works to establish a healthy baseline blood sugar level. This means that when food enters the body, blood glucose will increase from a lower and more regular point, making it easier to manage.
When a person starts to use new insulin, the doctor will recommend that they begin with a smaller percentage of the target dose.
This gives the body time to adapt to the extra insulin. The doctor will then slowly start to increase the prescription to provide a full dose.
Adjustments to an insulin regimen may become necessary if there are changes to a person’s diet or daily physical activity levels or if a person becomes ill.
Any factors that can affect blood sugar might lead to a change in insulin dosage, as well as negative reactions to the hormone, such as weight gain.
Finding the ideal long-acting insulin regimen is a trial and error process that requires careful monitoring of blood sugar levels.
Her numbers are so uncontrolled they are just trying to stabilize them at this point.
@@MilkTeaReactstype 1 here diagnosed last year and the doctors said they like to start on a lower dose to gauge your reaction to insulin and for me I was to increase by 2 units every few days until numbers got to be where they needed to be. Jumping from 5 to 15 units in a few days is kind of insane to me.
@@MyMomCallsMeSarShe's going to start "adjusting " on her own like she did with increasing her Janumet and claiming the doc told her to
"At some point .." = Never 🙄
My fiancé is Type 1 diabetic and the way he was diagnosed a few years back was via being rushed to hospital with ketoacidosis and sepsis. He was extremely lucky to have survived because it all happened so quickly. He is really good at managing his blood glucose due to the diabetic management course he had to take part in,and said that anything really above 15 is extremely concerning, let alone in the mid 20s. This is a complete lifestyle change. Chantal isn't taking things seriously, and I honestly hoped that this recent hospital trip would have scared her enough to kick her arse into gear. She'll fall off the wagon again.
Shes just going to adjust her insulin to her gluttonous food intake.
She won’t go to any appointments or therapy because she doesn’t want to be told what to do
Don’t you love when she throws in a “like I always say” right before something she has NEVER said? 😂
You know what I mean? 😂
Infection don’t make you thirsty, the high sugar count does!
Well it’s official, Foodie is now 80 years old at 40.
My mom's 84 and in far better health than Chantal.
Your titles are always the best in GW..
The absolute best
Agreed! This one drove me crazy because it took me like 2 days to recall what song this lyric was from, but it finally popped into my head. Without Googling it, because that would be cheating!
I thought 🤔💭 she was not talking about her health anymore ???? SMH
You are a queen Milky! Thank you for giving your perspective on living in Muslim country. Having travelled for work I think you have a very unique position to kinda know how she might be trying to get stuff over on us. Newer fan, but I find that you are level headed, intelligent, and your disposition is lovely. ❤ from Texas
Her, " it can't be the piece of bread" I just ate.....HELLO I had gestational diabetes and took insulin. Blood sugar is affected by lots of things. She wants to eat whatever and have the insulin work. It doesn't work like that. Or take a pill....she's never going to manage this by herself
I just want to scream at her... FIX YOUR DIET!! The medicine 💉 can only do so much!!!
She expects the medicine to replace fixing her diet.
All people on this sort of media do. They think bariatric surgery will cure their obesity with no efforts from them. Seen too much media where the patient looks ASTOUNDED that they'll still need to change their diet and that it doesn't just enable you to continuing overeating free of consequences. These people really are a can short of a six pack at times 🙄
The fact chantal keeps trying to lie about being in the 300 is just so hilarious to me. We can see gorl,my goodness. I don't believe she will ever voluntarily comply with a diabetic diet ever. Its going to t as ke inpatient and sime serious, long term psychiatric care, and meds. Thank you so much ❤
It’s going to be worse for her because it will be a combo diabetic/renal diet. And dairy is very bad for the kidneys.
@@sugarplumfairy2849 I agree
She's only "better off" in Kuwait when it's only an initial consultation and drugs she needs but what happens if she requires more invasive treatments for any complications which require longer stays in hospital/surgery/expensive test procedures. She's rolling the dice on being able to manage her condition and it not getting any worse. Also, surely she'll need her kidney function monitoring on a regular basis? Won't she have to pay for that?
And pay for all those meds every single month.
You have perfect timing? I was about ready to pull my hair out from work stress 😅
Same.
There's a theory that the hospital was in the UAE and that Sald brought her that meal. I no longer believe anything she says.
A simpler explination would be her using the hospital on the thumbnail from an image search, but god knows she's lied before. I guess if she travels in the next two weeks or so we'll know.
Hey Milk Tea...wonder if "thin women still GROSS Salah out" ?😂
She's going to blank in Kuwait. She's pushed her body too far and she refuses to stop eating on camera. She sat there justifying eating bread and cheese after she got out of the hospital. When she got out of hospital in Canada after experiencing the same thing (which she pretended was the vid) she immediately made that giant lasagna mukbang in the car she barely fits inside of. She's defiant to the grave. She'd rather die than admit she was wrong.
The arrogance and defiance will end her. She's really sticking it to us 😁
You just know her gravestone will have "PROVE IT!" engraved upon it 😂
Her mom is diabetic. She talked about when they were both on ozempic.
She was on it for weight loss not diabetes
But some aunts and the grandma was definitely diabetic. It's in her family.
This also normalises chronic health conditions for Chantal. If you grow up in an area, family structure where everywhere you look, there's sickness, disease, poverty, violence etc it becomes normal. No other way is seen so it becomes a hopeless cycle. "It's just what happens to us" etc without realising that better health could probably be achieved. Of course, this takes the view you can access and afford medical care in the first place which is an entire issue in itself
Insulin makes you gain weight and and
It is so hard to lose weight on insulin! The older you get the harder it is too lose weight!
Don't give her anymore ideas 😂
I personally couldn't take the communal bollocking we'll all get for supporting for believing insulin was the solution to all this 😂
It’s crazy how she didn’t make eye contact almost the whole time!!!
She’s so dumb to treat this so cavalier about it all!!! She definitely will not be able to stay there & pay those prices!!!!😂🤷🏻♀️
Her huzzband pays for everything though, right?
Whenever she even thinks of reducing carbs, she has a mental breakdown and eats twice as many. "Healthy" substop mukbangs coming soon, complete with reserve sandwiche under the table.
She must be watching James Brightman
I had the same thought!
She acts up online, cussing again and being generally just entirely demeaning to anyone who speaks a different opinion than her even when its not offensive, and then as soon as something negative happens again to her health, she is all sunshine and rainbows while wanting for the trucks of sympathy to come in. She believes whatever she did yesterday shouldn’t impact how shes viewed and treated to day. She just plain has no ability to take responsibility for the actions she makes that are ruining her literally inside and out.
she skipped what her weight as measured at the hospital was bc that's PRIVATE!!
hopefully she does go to the educational course and learns that in her current state she needs to watch all her macros like a person with uncontrolled diabetes and scary complications. Lentil soup is no longer healthy for her if the portion is too large or contains oil, butter or cream
Get ready to hear how everything cost only 8 dinars, Canada would've been so much moarrrr.
Today, Dr. Sarault is informing us that obesity is a huge issue, Amazing. THANK GOODNESS FOR HER!!
I don’t think she ever articulated a plan of any sort. She said she got referrals, she said she needs to get serious, etc, but she said nothing about what she actually intends to do to make changes. Already noncommittal just screams success, cutie!
She is still looking for the quick fix. Yes, losing weight will help tremendously. But the damage she has already done is never going away. She can certainly improve her health and longevity, but she will never be a fully healthy person. And she did that to herself.
So not only has she been put on insulin (which we still don't know is even going to work yet), she's been put on medication for high cholesterol and kidney disease. She's in so much trouble
Y is she talking about this when her medical issues r not our business?
Ooh yeeaahh. She can't keep a single thought in her head for more than 3 days.
When Chantal says "Hope to see you again soon in a live" i was immediately thinking just put "a live" together, shes in bad shape
it'll be a miracle if she makes it out of this mess.
180 lifestyle change.
“I will never talk about my health again”- Foodie Beauty
She looks even worse than she normally does. She's gonna be Life by Jen 2.0, and soon, unless she can quit being so defiant and a know-it-all and actually make some changes. We all know that's not gonna happen tho.....
She's still thirsty because she's still uncontrolled. When I first got sick, but before diagnosis, I was thirsty like that, too. It's a deep, unusual thirst and anyone who gets it will know there's something off. Once diagnosed and properly treated, I've never had that problem again, even with 20+ years as a diabetic. Chantal is n.e.v.e.r going to keep up with her meds. She has a lot wrong at the same time. It's not just an issue of getting on top of a diabetic diet & meds - she's got the heart and kidney issues and the NAFLD. That would be hard for anyone to deal with, even if they were trying hard. Chantal won't try and things are going to get worse for her.
thanks for always showing up to lives and premiers xxx
Thanks for making the content! Although I'm not sure thanks is the right word for that last one.
To answer your questions, Maryam Harbawi says a lot “darlings” in her videos when she talks to her audience.
I hope someone quickly shows her how to properly inject that insulin. How she did it the other day (on a freakin' live-stream, talk about violating tos) was cringe-worthy. DANGEROUS, as she did it.
What did she do wrong? I skipped that part but now I'm curious
When I had private health insurance I was treated like a queen! No test I asked for was denied. Because I paid for it! She's so painfully dumb.
This is nothing more than she deserves. All that ‘karma’ she loves to talk about.
I watched someone do a rune reading for Chantal and "karmic payback" was in there.
Had to take a peek at FB’s into to find the exactly how creepy
can confirm it’s pure nightmare fuel 😳
She makes it so hard to sympathise.
Why isn’t she like super concerned about her health? Her body could break down any day
It's already breaking down and continues to every day. Only a matter of time before it completely breaks.
I’m guessing she is depressed and doesn’t care a whole lot.
Hahaha the ending took me OUT 😂 Great video, MT!!! Love that you regularly bring us the research!
I guess Salah is going to have to arrange an "end of life" consultation visit since taking soooooo many pills is just cruel.
Mountain of pills..with side effects..was it worth it foodie?
You are indeed a hero MT! Two Chantal videos back to back! we are so unworthy of your service M’lady. Oh btw are you a football fan? England beat The Netherlands in the Euro 2024 semifinals
Omg caught the tea while its piping hot! ☕ thanks for all the content lately!!!
She's being kept alive by medications. If there's any side effects that she doesn't like, she's going to struggle.
yesterdays video she starts out talking about dates and says they are going to a late afternoon appt with diabetes clinic but the video the night before she says she has an early morning appt there and she was trying to figure out when to go to bed. Then later in the video going to clinic she is sitting car talking about her appt was in the afternoon and she got time wrong? I don't think she can keep up with all the stories. She also keeps stressing the Dr told her her blood sugar was HIGH because of kidney infection, she wants that known he said so she doesn't have to admit it is because of her eating and what she is doing, oh no it is the kidney infection the dr said.
I guarantee she is NOT telling him about her youtube videos and her eating like she did, oh no that wouldn't do. She is abusing the healthcare system and lying to the drs and her saying she can just go to different clinics. Makes me angry she lies and wants a pill or a shot to fix something immediately. She also said, last time she weighed was in Nov at the clinic and now at this clinic. there is NO way she has been to hospital twice and now again and not weighed, NO WAY they would give her medicine and not weigh her. No Dr or clinic nor hospital is going to take her word for it. Just like when she weighed at clinic and salah was standing there and THEY tell the Nurse what it said. She would be the one doing it. I bet she is also not telling them she was not taking her metformin and when she did she was doubling up on it, her words. bet she does the same with the insulin, she is playing russian roulette with meds at this point.
NO way they would give her the new meds for only a kidney infection, it is either for heart disease or KIDNEY failure or a combination of both. They are not for a kidney infection. The Kuwaity department of health needs to know she is abusing the system and then making mukbang videos and eating like hefalump for reals. She injects her insulin shot in her finger? please and then immediately is upset because it isn't working an d her numbers are so HIGH? It doesn't work that fast and she is eating peaches and junk while doing so. She is convinced the shot is going to cure her. Insanity.
Somehow I picture in my mind a panel of Drs and executive talking about her case, the latter saying how she will drain all their hospitals funds, and the Drs pleading "But she is such an interesting case, part cockroach, part human! And her blood is pure maple syrup! You never let us have any funnnn!" And finally someone finding a littleknowm budget for interesting cases, and that's why they are treating her
The easiest way for me to differentiate between fast and slow acting insulin is; slow acting will keep you down between meals, fast acting will bring you down from the spike the meal causes. Foodie is on slow acting to lower her overall levels throughout the day, not immediately lower what she's currently at.
It’s odd she talks up the healthcare in Kuwait when I’ve known people (citizens from the ME) seek out healthcare services in India and the US.
Hats off to doctors, I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be to deal with a patient like her…I’m sure they’re used to it, it must be so annoying
You are always the voice of reason. Thanks
180 lbs =
81.647 kilograms
There is no way she is anywhere close to 75kg lol
At all cause I’m bigger than 180 and I’m not anywhere near her size.
Look I'm 160 pounds at 5 foot 7. I have a little tummy. I could lose 15 pounds. I'm active daily cleaning in my cleaning company. Sure Foodie 😂 Oh I take one day off to clean, do laundry, shop. 😂😂😂😂
I'm 180 in a wheelchair have started posting videos of me trying to get my mobility and lose 60 to 65 lbs I'm 4'9.5
She's probably 180 kg
My doctor put me on 2 different statins and they both caused memory problems. I will never take them again.
Same happened to me. Much of our brain is made up of cholesterol so stands to reason. I felt like I was getting dementia. I'd rather take my chances than go on statins again.
@@rosiebottom3870 Doesn’t it make you wonder how many people in nursing homes that don’t have a choice in the matter are being told they have dementia of some kind and it’s the statin causing it!!
I’ve been watching you silently for so long, so I’m just saying hi 👋🏼 ❤ thanks for giving us so much content lately
Edit: I misread the Lantus label, I thought it said 100 units, but it says 100 units per mL and a vial is 10 mL. So at 15 units a day one vial will actually last her a couple of months.
I did the calculations on her meds too and something you didn’t take into account is her Lantus dosage. Each vial contains 100 units, so at 15 units a day she’ll use 4.5 vials a month. That increases the cost considerably, to around 120 KWD a month 😮
I agree. She'll be using up a 100 unit vial every 6 days or so at 15 units a day.
MT, how you keep your sanity watching in effect the same video over, over and over yet managing to come up with new insights, thoughts and counter claims is beyond me. You're an absolute 🌟!!
Milk Tea coming in hot with this reaction!! I've been dying to know what was going to happen at this appointment. Thank you!! ❤️😊
OMG!! All those meds. She can't take one on a regular basis, how's she going to cope with taking multiple meds at different times? Plus eating healthy, and avoiding carbs? I don't wish failure on her, I don't want anyone to pass away, but I don't have high hopes.
"can live years and years being 800 pounds you know"...I want the evidence for this
Lentils are full of carbs 2.5 per TBS
Lentils are OK for diabetics.
Not in the quantity she eats.
her intro *is* so creepy 😂 thank you for that
Imagine eating yourself into this state at 40 years of age.
The management of diabetes with all the complications she has accumulated through years of neglect, is relentless. I really don’t think she’s capable of doing what needs to be done, day in and day out , for the rest of her life, unless she gets specialised psychological support for the underlying causes of her binge eating and her non-compliance with authority.
Love your reacts getting to be public service announcements with her gaslighting. Hate how she has no awareness of her privilege in Kuwait
I hope you are enjoying your summer holiday! Such a big fan of yours x
The medicine can only do so much chantal
More hearts getting broken & people being used lol 🎶 I love your video titles 😜
❤thanks, you are my favourite edge lord ;-)
I hope they look at all her medications and supplements and give guidance cuz those are alot of meds. I take a blood pressure med that I can't eat bananas or potatoes too often because they are high in potassium.
That intro of hers is creepy.
Thanks for another great review 💚🌹💚 love from Arkansas
