Pretty cool setting up for these fights to kill them quickly. Both fights followed a similar strat so I threw them together in one vid

Cool strats! Playing with the lategame/NG+ kit makes me think it might have been a good idea to have the ultimates work with a different resource (possibly LB gauge), since packing your loadout with 3 or 4 of them and spamming them off cooldown trivializes a large amount of encounters, I've found. I prefer not to do it since it's more fun to use normal abilities, but it's hard to argue with the incentives.

I felt this way until I became more conscious of how much time it saves and how much cooler it feels hitting them during key burst moments with high combo multipliers. There's a balance there too where they obviously don't want you holding onto ability cds too long either, cus there's plenty of fights that are worth starting out with the big guns like you say. Diamond dust and shiva in general are definitely broken but its so fun its hard to be mad.
This is all without me having tried ultimaniac arcade mode properly yet, so grain of salt. Just finishing up the final chronoliths myself before grinding those
