Ah I think you'll find there one of the best teams, if not the nest team in Conference USA. Granted their not as good as Bama or Florida, but theyre good for their respected conference!
I don’t know if the cable system in Huntington still does this, but they used to loop the fight song over and over and over again on the TV guide. I liked it. I wish Spectrum in Lexington would do that with On On UofK, but I’m just happy they keep service together most times.
I would LOVE to see Marshall in the Big 12 someday. West Virginia needs a rival and the Big 12 needs another more eastern team to justify travel costs of members. Plus, it would make Marshall's story even more legendary.
Marshall is in an ideal situation now. They are one of only 5 or 6 teams that are, year in and year out, in competition for inclusion in a major bowl as the best non-power conference team. The are a big fish in a little pond. Also, their fans get to see them play most of their games against teams close by. A great fan and financial situation even in a down year.

I played as WVU in NCAA 08, played against Marshall a lot. I was never good at defense so I heard this a lot. Anyways, it’s a great fight song!!
