PLEASE READ Though there is similar comment below, here is one with timing. Also try to google what is prelude, fugue, fantasia, toccata, pastorale etc. so this words will help you to listen the piece. Pieces with long names (lol) are known as "Chorale preludes". Chorale prelude is a very interesting thing, you can find what is chorale prelude on the Internet. Also you can find a hymn(song) with which prelude is associated, if you want. And if you are really interested in music, try to listen to many players even though they are playing the same thing. By that you can develop your musical taste and feeling and in future you will be able to understand whether piece was played well or poorly. The last thing is especially important if you are a musician.
Incredible that a human being wrote all of those pieces. Truly a god amongst man, you can't be a regular human being and be this good. Bach is the greatest musician ever!

La primera vez que escuche la Tocata y Fuga de Bach fué con catorce años en el colegio, la tocaba un compañero con armonio, también de catorce años, (le apodábamos Beethoven) y me fascino tanto esta música que no he dejado de escucharla cuando quiero olvidarme de todo y relajarme.
This guy is a monster!!! Organ is perhaps the most difficult of all instruments to play because it has literally hundreds of ways to play a single key.
I truly prefer the European organs (that are found in Catholic churches), simply because of the fact that their beauty is incomparable over the American organs. But I'd you look at the world's two largest organs (found in the U.S. you might be surprised by how many thousands of ways they can produce a single note. (Seriously... just search up largest pipe organs on the world and look at the keyboards...)

European Organs have history and beauty... Americans have immense power and, size and are quite... American. You wouldn't happen to know if the Boardwalk Hall Auditorium Organ has electronics in it, or if it is acoustic like the older European ones? Ps. Nice profile pic.
+gekkigami I am 77 years old and remember as child obtaining information on both the Boardwalk organ and the Wanamaker organs. Their respective consoles have changed little over the years. The Wanamaker organ has been meticulously maintained since Macy's took over. The Boardwalk organ had suffered from neglect over the years and then Hurricane Sandy and a leaky roof did not help matters. Now, slowly but surely, it is being restored. I understand that one or two divisions are quite playable now.

Барокко делится на три периода раннее, среднее и позднее. Бах был представителем позднего барокко. Он родился 21.03.1685 в Тюрингии г. Эйзенахе. А Г.Ф. Гендель 23.02.1685 в один год с Бахом. Но на протяжении всей жизни Бах стремился встретиться с Генделем, а тот избегал встречи с ним, считая талант Баха выше его самого. Французкий музыкант Луи Маршан, у которого должно быть состязание в музыке с Бахом, после того как услышал случайно как играл Бах, даже не прибыл на встречу с ним, а сразу в тот же день покинул Германию и уехал к себе во Францию. А. Вивальди отзывался о Бахе как о величайшем композиторе, поскольку только Бах смог переписать некоторую скрипичную музыку Вивальди для исполнения на органе и клавесине. True! hearing it live is close to an orgasm. I once got all wet down there listening to an organ in the church. I confessed to a priest and he said it was not an orgasm and seemed to hint that he would clarify for me what a real one is..... now I think that Bach in a church is more intense.

The pipe organ is a challenging instrument at the best of times with it's different keyboards, foot pedals and pipe levers for the beleaguered brain to contend with, even before the huge technical demands of Herren Bach, Widor or Mendelssohn set in. Rubik's cube is as nothing to it. Coming to organ from piano, it was the beast from hell for me as a school and church organist, long ago. This present organ is a truly magnificent instrument and the organist is supremely skilled. Thank you for this treat.

Почему-то с самого детства, лет с шести, когда я первый раз услышала Токкату и фугу Баха, у меня сначала захватывает дух, а потом текут слезы. Если меня бы спросили, что такое Бог, то я бы сказала, что для меня это музыка Баха, в первую очередь.

This guy is a monster!!! Organ is perhaps the most difficult of all instruments to play because it has literally hundreds of ways to play a single key.
I truly prefer the European organs (that are found in Catholic churches), simply because of the fact that their beauty is incomparable over the American organs. But I'd you look at the world's two largest organs (found in the U.S. you might be surprised by how many thousands of ways they can produce a single note.
(Seriously... just search up largest pipe organs on the world and look at the keyboards...)

+gekkigami I am 77 years old and remember as child obtaining information on both the Boardwalk organ and the Wanamaker organs. Their respective consoles have changed little over the years. The Wanamaker organ has been meticulously maintained since Macy's took over. The Boardwalk organ had suffered from neglect over the years and then Hurricane Sandy and a leaky roof did not help matters. Now, slowly but surely, it is being restored. I understand that one or two divisions are quite playable now.

Барокко делится на три периода раннее, среднее и позднее. Бах был представителем позднего барокко. Он родился 21.03.1685 в Тюрингии г. Эйзенахе. А Г.Ф. Гендель 23.02.1685 в один год с Бахом. Но на протяжении всей жизни Бах стремился встретиться с Генделем, а тот избегал встречи с ним, считая талант Баха выше его самого. Французкий музыкант Луи Маршан, у которого должно быть состязание в музыке с Бахом, после того как услышал случайно как играл Бах, даже не прибыл на встречу с ним, а сразу в тот же день покинул Германию и уехал к себе во Францию. А. Вивальди отзывался о Бахе как о величайшем композиторе, поскольку только Бах смог переписать некоторую скрипичную музыку Вивальди для исполнения на органе и клавесине. Моцарт, который был рождён спустя 6 лет после смерти Баха в 1756, тоже прежде чем начать свою музыку стал изучать музыку Баха. А Бетховен знал наизусть весь хорошо темперированный клавир Баха, состоящий из 2-х частей, в каждой части 24 произведения, всего 48 и тоже был восхищён. Даже академик М.В. Pipe organs really are the king of instruments and Bach is the master of the organ. Mr Stamm, bravo for such an excellent and amazing performance! Toccata and Fugue is probably my favorite piece and you did a superb job in your rendition of it!

The pipe organ is a challenging instrument at the best of times with it's different keyboards, foot pedals and pipe levers for the beleaguered brain to contend with, even before the huge technical demands of Herren Bach, Widor or Mendelssohn set in. Rubik's cube is as nothing to it. Coming to organ from piano, it was the beast from hell for me as a school and church organist, long ago. This present organ is a truly magnificent instrument and the organist is supremely skilled. Thank you for this treat.
I am often unable to conceive that Bach was born in the late 1600s. How brilliant a man he was. How creative and deep his music was. Well done, Mr. Stamm!
