Thank you for posting this! We were 100' down E-dock from Andromeda on s/v Aurora. We bailed at the last minute and drove up to stay with friends in Mouseland. I didn't know if I would have a home to come back to. We saw your post back then and saw that Aurora was still floating. We broke down in tears of joy. Best regards, Jeff (and Rachel) s/v Aurora, Key West
My experience with Hurricanes is when they are close, there is so much water in the air that visibility is very nearly zero. (Tahiti 1982). The paint was water-blasted off the front of our masts and every boat over 40' went on the beach except for my Herreshoff Marco Polo and a Swan 65...both of us were the only boats with 1/2 chain, EVERY boat with 3/8 chain went on the beach. The strain on the anchor rode repeatedly broke our 3/4" nylon snubber (like a cannon shot over the Shreke
@everyday tenor it's Objective. But if it wasn't for the multiple comments the music would have just monotonous... And I never would have paid attention to it

We were in Turks (thankfully at Club Med, build in concrete) in Irma, 2017, and it was way more violent than what we see in this video…

I lost my fight with Irma or should I say may boat did. Moored off Merritt Island ..
La música es la correcta para los que vivimos unos años en el Caribe y te agarra un huracán
