My feelings exactly after my first listen. The heavy part sucked me in and made me listen to it again, and after a few listens this one really hit me and now it's on my playlist! They definitely do have some heavier stuff and plenty of lighter/melodic stuff like you mentioned. I'll throw some more Bad Omens at ya eventually, will go heavier next time. Cheers y'all!

Never been able to really get into this band myself, but they definitely have high quality production and I do see why other people love them. Their popularity is well deserved.
They are a catchy band. They drip perfect circle vibes on the drums, and that's a good thing.

You have soooooooo many more great songs to listen to if this is your first Bad Omens song. Truly a band with a diversity of greatness. May I suggest "Kingdom Of Cards" next.
I really enjoyed this reaction. I have become a huge bad omens fan in the last year or two and I've always loved y'all's reactions so it was such a pleasure to see y'all react to them. Truly hoping y'all go all the way down the rabbit hole cuz they're such a bad ass band. Check out artificial suicide or dethrone for some heaviness. Like a villain is also a really great song and it's one of the first songs that got me totally hooked on them

The entire album is good, but Artificial Suicide is an absolute banger. Recommend checking that one out for sure.

He has a very effeminate voice so it grows on you. The lyrics are always solid though. My favorite from them is probably their shortest song "What it Cost". The synth in that one is amazing. You guys should try " Like a Villain" next. The hook/chorus is catchy as hell.

The shift in his vocals brings almost a shock value to it. The singing is very shallow and in the front of the throat and his "scream" comes from much deeper in the back of the throat. It's an odd shift. Most singers either stick to the font or back and change depths.
Really can’t go wrong with bad omens. They’re ridiculous.
If you've not tried anything by them then give "Parasite Eve" by "Bring Me The Horizon" a spin - I think you'll appreciate it.
