I like the layout of the smaller Jayco 24 B, but the deal-breaker is Jayco's small, 5' 10" bed. Too short.

Yup, have one. It's barely long enough for me. Not to mention you absolutely must insist on an installed leveling system (which wasn't included on ours) because when extended, the head-end is lower than the foot-end. We cheat by driving up on blocks and even stick crappy levelers just under the prep beams. One day we'll pop for that system. BUT the real Achilles heel is the two rail schwintek junk. Good luck. Just waiting for ours to fail stranding us. Thinking seriously of having a Vroom system installed (if we keep this thing).
The floorplan is very good, and the bathroom is more than adequate. Hate the oven (why on earth would anyone want that).
