I have been fighting my machine for an hour to learn how to do this! You showed that threader perfectly! Thank you!

It looks like you do all of the top threading procedure with the presser foot down. I was taught the presser foot must be in the up position when doing all but the last step. This keeps the tension disks open, and allows the thread to go through them. Putting it down for the last step closes the discs and holds the thread while it is being threaded through the needle. Doing it wrong is a very common cause of getting nesting of the top thread.

Hi Cathy, when I looked at the instructions it show the presser foot down. I agree with what you’ve said about the tension disk although I haven’t had any issues doing it this way. I will try it your way and see if there’s a difference with my machine. Thank you for the info and for watching. 🫶🏽💕

Thank you so much for this video!! I feel the same as Rosie, only just started using mine and lost count of the amount of times it took me to thread it properly. Can I also ask....with the first design I did, the embroidery arm did not go back to the far right position when the design was completed. Is this correct? I have my designs on a USB stick, if I choose a design and it is shown, how do I get out of it? if I change my mind or it is completed? do I bin it? I am so sorry to be a nuisance.

Hi there. Normally when the machine finishes the design, I would press the home key which is on the right hand side of your screen, then an icon to return the carriage to the home position will appear - it looks like a hoop with a little arrow next to it. If you press that icon the carriage will go back to the right. From there you can choose to do another design or just power off. When ever you turn your machine on it will ask if you want to resume the last design . I do hope this helps, please let me know if it worked for you. Have an amazing day 🫶🏽💕

😂 Not really, you really just follow the numbers on the machine.
