Less than 5 billion have been available for retail. 98% of retail will sell right back to the institutions from $2 to $300 because thats how we have been programmed. They are not worried about buying back at these levels at all! XRP will easily hit 5 digits by 2026-2027 and will hit 6 digits by 2028. If "MC doesn't matter", then where is my 500X-1000X in 6 months? Funny how those kinds of returns disappeared as soon as the MC of XRP became large.
You can't have it both ways, claiming that "market cap doesn't matter", and at the same time, denying me exponential returns.
Market cap does matter ... Ffs... It doesn't matter if the token has 1000 uses or not... If there is a circ supply you can base the the price of the market cap. If more tokens are released into the circ supply the market cap would naturally come down. When XRP IS st $18.18 the mc will be 1 trillion dollars based off of 55 billion token circulating.. if they release more into circulation then the price per token comes down... The utility just gives it actual value and use cases.. and those are the things that will cause hight transaction value and cause it to burn the supply..
Contrary to popular belief, market cap does not indicate "how much money has been invested in an asset".
Think about it: The guys who mined 100's of Bitcoin in 2010 have $millions in Bitcoin but they did not spend $millions to get them. Market cap says they did though.
So what does market cap represent if not the amount of money invested?.... Nothing, it's all BS!

I think there a re some problems in this analysis. First of all, market cap is part of the formula that determines the value of each crypto. You can't escape from it. Whatever one wants to believe about a crypto's value, you cannot escape the role that market cap plays in determining price. Also, you did not mention why XRP requires such a high market cap to move the price, which is its massive circulating supply of 55.8 billion XRP. This is what is crushing the price of XRP and no solution to this problem seems feasible. Lastly, there is a lot of speculation about what XRP is capable of, yet there is not a single real world experience to draw from. So far it is hype and speculation. You must understand that just because there is the potential for large amounts of money to move through "the system," will not directly correlate with an increase in the price XRP. There will need to be substantial profits for the price to move, and I am relatively certain that most XRP investors have no idea about the costs of doing business relative to Ripple/XRP.

That is true, but irrelevant, because there IS a genuine need for a global connection of money as the entire world becomes more tied together financially. XRP will become that connection and in order for it to work it heeds to have a very high price. I see at least $100 within the next couple years and $1,000 within 5 as it becomes globally accepted. The market cap is only at $30 billion roughly, in the financial world that’s not all lot of money in comparison to the projected circulation of money that the world that will process through XRP. Just wait till countries and banks buy XRP. They’ll be using it for bank transfers and real estate, but it would be ridiculous for them to convert all their cryptocurrency to Fiat currency every time they make a transaction; Which will make the price fly sky high.
