I am awestruck by the general creativity displayed in the video and the music and the dance. Let me start with the dance: The dance tells the story of the song well! It is interpreting what is being sung, at a steeze level of 200degrees man! it is also in sync with the rhythm of the song that if watch the video without the song, I can guess accurately the tempo and flow of the beat. The lyricism: The fact that the overview of the song is basically about the proof of salvation, gives a lot of room for complexity in the lyrics. There is a lot of reason to forego simplicity and express "depth". But instead of choosing ambiguity, y'all chose simple, straightforward and easy to understand Then there is the music arrangement: Damn! The video: The visual interpretation was quite intelligent. How Prinx Emmanuel was playing on a TV in a fridge full of fruits was very good at cloaking the actual fact of his physical absence. There was also a good mix of colour and fashion which subtly explains that the fruit of the spirit is not in all these things. The transitions were masterful too. The different orientations per scene too, muah! Then Prinx Emmanuel's flow and lyrics: if you don't listen well, you won't hear a perfect mix of Burna and Rema in his flows. The ability to replicate a style so masterfully that you own it, is a very rare skill bestowed by God. It's like Prinx gets better the more he hears music. At the just concluded TAPE 2024, you could hear an intelligent blend of Caribbean, Makossa, Afro beats, Rock, Jazz, Dancehall and Pop musical sounds. His lyrics are also crafted to be quite memorable, so much so that even if you don't like the song, you can't forget the lyrics.
Then there's the beautiful and subtle protest against nudity by the dancers. No tight clothes, no revealing outfits, no distracting fashion choice, just colourful, funny, and still focused on the message being passed.
