      @@ahmedqayyum yeah of course! Btw, how do I display the stars rating for each user? I see that you have the select field in the cms for the rating which is what I did but can't figure out how to display the stars on the page like you do with the emojis.

      @@user-yv6gq8kx3u I am using a component by Finsweet, where attributes are already applied. So you just have to use that component and build the system on the top of it.

      @@ahmedqayyum Thank you for your reply. I'm still confused, Is this a separate component from the star rating on the form? I have that already, just not sure how to display them for my collection list when I display the reviews

    Thank you for this! Super helpful. I couldn't figure out how to show the stars when showing the review till I figured out you need to do a Condition for the rating.

    Goated. I have used webfow a ton, but this is my first client project with an ecom store. I was super worried as nobody has a review feature on sites, and thought I would have to buy something 3rd party. This is fantastic.

    Hey, is it not possible to connect the product name that's submitted with the form to the product reference field in the review collection via logic, so that way you can do the webflow collection list filtering (Add a filter to the review collection list on the product page ->
    Select the reference field (that links reviews to products) and set the condition to “Equals” and then select “Current Product”.
    This way you don't need to render all the reviews and hide/display with custom code. May this be a better solution or am I overseeing something?

      @@ahmedqayyum the problem is that I want to build a big review site with a lot of review CMS items (10,000+), and rendering them all like you have showed in video number 3 is not a best practise because then the website might take longer to load , as you are rendering all the reviews and with a lot of reviews that's not the best practise. Do you think you can connect the product name to the reference field via Make or Zapier?

    I really enjoyed this tutorial. Is there any chance this can be made as a cloneable or to see the read only link to see fully how its connected. How do you display the user submitted review rating on the page?

    Great video, my next question is how do you get an average and count of all reviews so the product shows total reviews and average rating?

    • @ahmedqayyum
      @ahmedqayyum  Před 10 měsíci +1

      We can get the total count as we are creating every review inside CMS. We also have the rating number in CMS as well, so we can generate a script that can calculate an average and display it somewhere on the page.

    • @ahmedqayyum
      @ahmedqayyum  Před 10 měsíci +1

    Ridiculous that webflow cannot pull in the CMS item name into the logic flow.
