  • Miya San Miya San (My Lord, My Lord) is a Japanese march dating from the Boshin War and Meiji restoration in 1868. It is widely considered to have be the first western-style march ever made in Japan. The Prince referred to is Prince Arisugawa Taruhito, head of the Arisugawa branch of the Yamato Imperial Dynasty, and first head of the Imperial Japanese Army during the Boshin War.
