The Osa Peninsula is a peninsula located in southwestern Costa Rica, in the Puntarenas Province, with the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Golfo Dulce to the east. The peninsula was formed geologically by a faulting system that extends north into California.

That was one of my fave trips with you Ralph. The wildlife is incredible. Remember those tiny little armies around the resort that gave us endless entertainment and video fun? Fascinating.
I had a very good feeling you were going to love Costa Rica, Chris, and I'm so glad you did. And I definitely remember the armies of ants, which I didn't incorporate into this video for some reason. Guess I'll have to come up with a Costa Rica Part 2!

Well done video, Ralph. We have a retirement home for the near future near Uvita and have been to the Osa and Puerto Jiminez. Thanks for the tip about the monkey tour. Next time we're down that way we'll be sure to hit that tour, the Sierpe is another trip we have yet to make. Thanks again!

It really is, Gini, especially if you enjoy animals in their natural habitat. And what I love is that it's both very remote, so very few people, but also extremely accessible at the same time. You and Randy need to join one of my trips!

Dang - I spent all my time on the beach. Gonna have to go back!! And I will bring my real camera as opposed to just my cell camera.
Great idea, but don't underestimate the wonderful images you can get from a cell phone, too.
