Genie bottle pendant - How to make wire wrap large spherical stones without holes - How to make jewelry from copper wire by Lan Anh Handmade
Sample in video "Water Drop cage with large spherical stone without holes 471" Many people do not keep up the way to wrap the wires to connect big wires. So I made this video with a simpler wrap, easier to see so everyone can keep up
With this stone wrap way you can apply it to any stone shape you have ( have holes or no holes) . Most suitable is spherical stones, marbles or gravel form.
A little change (wire size, how to bend wire, how to stone beads combination) you will produce different products
The wire size varies depending on the size of the stone you have
With this form you can use any type of wire or wire size you have. Smaller diameter wires are easier to handle, but they are less durable than larger wires.
In the video I use :
20 gauge ( wire diameter 0.8mm ) : 3 x 10cm( 4 inch), 2cm( 0,8 inch), 2,5cm( 1 inch)
28 gauge ( wire diameter 0.3mm ) : 50cm( 20 inch)
Spherical stone 1.2cm in diameter
TIPS :
- Before doing, Always be sure to straighten the wire for a more beautiful product
- Can use a towel to straighten the wire.
- Refer to how to straighten the wire here • Basic guide - straight...
- Can be replaced with silver wire or gold wire for jewelry more valuable
Or simply use cheap material like copper wire to make gifts for friends, family or for yourself
- I just give way reference, not the best way. Can change size wire to suit your purpose. You can do better than me.
- I bought all the material and stones in where I live (Vietnam)
I used to round copper wire - magnet wire , it's the only kind I found where I lived for many sizes. I do not know exactly what type it was, can be normal copper wire, it have plating layer, and not dark by time

I wrapped a marble that was too big for these measurements so it made a squat genie bottle and then I measured my next marble and scaled the measurements up from that and I'm working on that right now! Thank you for your tutorials!

Solía redondear el alambre de cobre - alambre de imán (tipo de alambre que no se usa para hacer joyas, su precio es muy barato). Es el único tipo que encontré donde vivía para muchos tamaños. No sé exactamente de qué tipo era, puede ser un cable de cobre normal, tiene una capa de recubrimiento y no está oscuro por el tiempo
puedes cambiar para adaptarlo al material que tienes

Eu costumava enrolar fio de cobre - fio magnético, é o único tipo que encontrei onde morava por vários tamanhos. Não sei exatamente de que tipo era, pode ser fio de cobre normal, tem camada de revestimento e não fica escuro pelo tempo
você pode mudar para se adequar ao material que possui

If you use bare copper, it will be oxidized. You have to oxidize it, polish it, Then cover a layer of protection so that it doesn't change over time. that's a general rule, but I haven't had the chance to try it yet. Wish you success and make more beautiful products
