I realize this video is 2 years old ...Last week I picked up the Traxxas TRX4 F-150 High Trail ... also purchased the Pro light kit it is installed ... seem like the kit for the Bronco is a little more involved , little more painstaking .. I do enjoy watching these installs lol .. Excellent Matt

Didn't catch the live stream however did watch it afterwards. Watched it as I detailed my UDR's interior and wheels. Always good fun. I've got a Bronco on order (same color) well back order since 25th May. I do have the winch (sitting in the box) and that light kit looks toooo good to pass up.

I did mine yesterday. Even my wife said that's ridiculous cool. You can set the traxxas link so you have park lights only, front and back.

Not worth the money. My trick RC is less expensive and able to control from the transmitter. This lighting system sucks.

The Bronco light kit looks ace. For the Defender "Pro Scale" light kit I wish they had bothered to do a Google images of a Defender before they started making the set! The front indicators/turn signals should be on the bottom, and should not illuminate when the driving lights are on.

I'm late to crawling party by 9 years. Got in this spring. My trx4 is certainly more high tec compared to my axial scx10 2. Enjoy the unlocking diffs for non crawling and the 2 speed trx4.

Ok so I have ordered and new bronco with a light kit. I also got a hobby wing quicrun fusion 2 in 1 motor/esc how would I wire up the brake lights and reverse lights for them to properly work with that system. Is that even possible?

Can we get the LEDs alone? I have a pro light kit I didnt use on my TRX6. All the module and bracket part numbers are the same. Not really interested in spending $100 when all I need is the LED's. Got any part numbers on the lights themselves?

those lights do look way too good though, makes waiting for the european release all that harder :D

It'd be nice if they made it compatible with aftermarket radios and esc's. Luckily there is a decent chinese light kit on ebay that does.

I honeslty don't know. If they're compatible with the current distribution block, I'd say yes.
Quick question before you put the liht in do you have to pull the wires through front .

Can someone please answer my question! Are my 21 bronco trx4s headlights supposed to dim when the brake lights come on? I never noticed it before…but maybe that how it’s just supposed to be? Tested it with the stock esc, double checked the wiring, eliminated factors, haven’t gotten the headlights to stop dimming when the brake lights come on..? 🤔 any ideas would be amazing 😁
Have you checked your battery voltage? Might be time for a top up! Hope this helps!
I just installed my Pro Scale Kit last night and Really like it, and like you had to go to the instruction sheet for the signal's activation LOL 😁😆😁

Motor wires are necessary if you want brake and reverse lights.
Motor sensor wires are - not - necessary for brake and reverse lights. I have a HW Fusion and am not using the sensor wire. I have reverse and brake lights. I'm actually not sure what the motor sensor wire does. Good luck finding anything from Traxxas support.
Does your front halo's stay on when you turn the car off? Mine is doing this and not sure short of unplugging the battery or light cable how to get them to turn off when you turn the ESC off.
I think that's normal, as the power unit for the lights is separate from the ESC. Please tell me you don't leave your batteries plugged in and left in the truck when you're not using it. That's a big no-no.
@@scalebuildersguild Not overnight, but for short periods of time within the day... yes. I have the button that allows me to turn it on/off without removing the body on both my bronco and my defender. On the defender, the lights turn off with the ESC(original light kit, not the new pro scale), but not on the Bronco.
Also I would have thought the power unit for the lights IS the esc (red plug going from the control box on the chassis to the ESC) That typically shuts down when the ESC shuts down.
What do you use to get scratches off the body 🤔
You can try polishing compounds, they usually come in a three step system, but with Lexan, sometimes you just have to live with it.
Question, can you install the brake light feature if your running a sensored brushless system, and if so, how

Not that I'm aware, the idea behind Traxxas Link is to put that control on your smartphone.
Hey i just installed the lighting kit but i cant turn off the daytime light. Do you have any idea what could be the problem? Seems that everything is wired correctly
I believe that can be done from the phone app.

Rock lights aren't included with any kit. They're always an add-on. Sorry for the confusion.

The Pro-Scale system is waterproof from the factory. Nothing to do on your end.

@@markmoats1312 I'll try to say this as clearly as I can, the new Pro Scale Lighting Kits are waterproof, regardless of what model you put them in.
Just got mine installed, does anyone know if there is a way to use the hazard lights through the app and not have to pull the body off.
Only via the Signal button as far as I know.
@@scalebuildersguild traxxas needs to put that in the next update so we don’t have to pull the body off if we want to turn them on, also be able to do headlight pulse like you can do in demo mode.
@@chrisconnolly4551 Agreed. I was under the impression that you could turn on hazard lights and switch to crawler mode from the bluetooth/APP. Very disappointed that so far the only useful thing on the app for the Bronco lights is the low/high beam controls. That's about it, and the inclinometers...

At that price, & yet you still have to search for AA batteries? Why is the on/off switch mounted in such an awkward place?
For which part? The lights wire into the existing truck battery. Transmitters usually require batteries.
I feel ripped if Traxxas can make I light kit for the Bronco. WHY can't in 10 years Axial make a light kit specific for the scx10iii Wrangler ❓❔❓❔❓❔❓❔
Axial 3 comes already with led lights, and there are light kits everywhere , with remote controll with 3 rd chanell working well with any electronics much cheaper than this, with ridiculous switch direct on the esc

Yes, all Traxxas vehicles feature water resistant electronics, not suitable for submerging.
