What a great review! If I didn’t already have one I would be very tempted into looking into getting an airbeam after watching this. Even though they aren’t the cheapest of tents, the convenience and speed to erect one is well worth the cost and doesn’t eat into your well earned ‘tent time’!
Nicely shot with some interesting cutaways!

Great rewiew! For the next year I will buy this model (but the 500xl, I like to have more space, it seems to not be always enough XD). Good work Lisa! 👍

Thank you for your lovely comment! I know what you mean about the space - its soon filled! I'm sure you will love the tent - its worth it for the pitching time alone. Happy future camping! x

Hi, I’m thinking of buying one of these second hand, as a single mum do you think I could put this up myself?? Thanks

Hiya Elaine, I think you would struggle putting this up yourself but it depends how old your kids are. Basically the beams need to be supported a little (to keep them straight when inflating them). If the kids are a bit older you could get them to do the majority of the pumping up while you keep the beams straight! You could peg out the four corners before you start and then adjust the tent a little when the beams are done. Its a great tent though. I hope this helpful but pls get get in touch if you need any more advice xx

Hi Lisa - great review - can you confirm something for me - in the inner tent/sleeping pods - is that top section a breathable mesh rather than the lights out fabric to assist with airflow while sleeping?

Hi Cameron, arhh thank you so much for that lovely comment. With regards to your question the top section is a breathable mesh. I'm pretty sure that the lights out fabric came out after this particular model. Vango only seems to be doing the Edoras in a 400XL this year so maybe the lights out fabric was added to this newer incarnation. We find our tent has no problems at all with condensation and is a very airy tent. I hope this is helpful, any other questions please feel free to ask!
