Transformers Devastation [Prime Challenge 2] Fun With Grimlock VS Constructicons

- Started messing around with Grim today, this fight was done with No TECH perks and all D Rank Gear. It's definitely a bit rough and sloppy, but to my credit this is probably the hardest fight in the game imo. All 6 constructicons at the same time is rough on Prime, they just never stop attacking. No excuses for that terrible Devastator fight though hah!

Grimlock's fighting style here is soooo freakin' cool. Reminds me of Maki from the Final Fight and Street Fighter games.

if you parry a missile or any projectile that isn’t a gun you can catch it.
Amazing. I'm still mastering prime and going through magnus difficulty. This game is gold. Sad it kinda bombed. :(

Best fight in the whole game due to the craziness of it and how the ENTIRE Constructicons complement each other as a whole.

Of the voices of the Constructicons, only Michael Bell reprised his role from the series as Scrapper. They didn't even want to pay Gregg Berger extra to reprise Long Haul. I guess they thought it was enough that he reprised his role as Grimlock.

Only thing I wish this game did a better job at is scaling. Grimlock is TINY compared to the other Transformers which is NOT right!
Grimlock might not be the best fighter, but damn does he have the hype at wrestling moves in the game.

Godzilla vs king Kong of the TRANSFORMERS hands down i love slamming cons down with the wrestling moves sometimes when i played in the PRIME levels when the fight was on the line with almost three rounds of ammo left id transform in and out modes and i just do the devastator dirty with the energon hammer and his flame sword until I finished him off with the fireball
Made me wish transformers had toys from this game I'd buy it

Good stuff you should use Grimlock Down Up Heavy in Dino form very useful cause a mini AOE into instant Rush Attack
+John Chin Thanks John, I do use it but like a ton of things in this game I was trying not to abuse them too much. In this particular run I just ended up not using it. You can just spam that and kill everything hah! Or dodge, uppercut launch and throw over and over. Game is clearly not balanced but it's still a blast to play :)
Yeah true lol Grimlock alittle insane but he's lack of dodging make him more balanced as it's his downfall
+JoeFenix Platinum games have always balanced in the gamers favor. And frankly considering how often they can parry you in boss fights I wouldn't be ashamed of using the bf+y rush. I use it to chase enemies down as part of combos.

I have been trying to figure out Grimlock, what's his trick? He feels like he plays radically different from say, Optimus and Bumblebee(been using Bee a lot for this challenge on Commander trying to improve my reflexes for the game in general).
otakon17 I main Grimlock and he does play a lot different if you use his Trex form but I like his robot form more so istay like thst

What's the input for the repeated stomp you do in dino mode after you slam down on enemies?

Never would have thought you could knock Devastator flat. How else are you supposed to do that other than with a really convenient dino attack to his head?

What input is the tail swipe you do at 0:14 and again at 0:48 that leads straight into a dino attack?
I can't tell if it's a dodge offset combo or if it's a single move, but I can't seem to figure it out in game.
+benskx That's the spin attack in Dino form, rotate the stick and press heavy attack
+JoeFenix Oh, of course, I completely forgot about that move. Also, launcher into air throw is something I didn't even know was possible, but it is awesome. Thanks.
