I actually liked better the quality of an older camera that I used but I settled with this one for the time being due to the better gimbal-mechanical stabilization of the optics. I use post-processing software to enhance the sharpness and color of the image afterwards. ;)

That is the first time I've seen a helicopter do a snap cobra,lol. wow, what an incredible display of machine and man. That pilot has god like skills and makes it look effortless. He is getting everything he can out of that helo. What can i say, another fantastic video. I cant wait to see what else you got in the MAKS stash!

I actually think that the helicopter can be pushed further... For me the most interesting maneuver was the skywards funnel (circle performed with tail pointing at the ground). That is very demanding to perform! :o

This one was from the media platform. It's the only time I have had access. Most of my videos are from the public zone. Other spotter friends tell me that there's some village right behind the airport where you can get similar views though, if you know how to get there ;)
Haha, yes will upload some MAKS 2001 footage. But the problem is I need a camcorder to transfer the old recordings.;-)

Russia has some awesome helicopters Hind, Havoc, Night Hunter, Aligator, Buttpirate, Black Shark, all great.
Alligator is my favourite :)
Havoc and Night Hunter are one. So as the Mi-24. NATO just called it the Havoc for the Mi-28 and Hind for the MI-24. Still, Mi-28 is a pretty badass name for the when someone flies this and wreak Havoc towards the terrorists location.

A word of advice... Please when filming some of the aerobatics,
please zoom out so viewers can get sense of what the figure that is performed looks like...
I love your work and this advice I gave you is just because I think your videos would be even greater!

I appreciate your feedback, but the zooming in is made on purpose. Depending on the video, what I'm filming, the background, I personally decide what to zoom in and what not to. The internet is full of videos without zooming. Getting good quality and zoom-in footage is most complicated and very rare. A big portion of my audience likes that precisely. I like both things. I appreciate that you respectfully let me know that you prefer less zoom, it is useful for me to know it, but don't assume everyone else thinks the same way. ;)
